FC: Barbara Jean Clemons Reid Celebrating 65 Years
1: When I was 7 and Barbara was around 13, she, Jacqui, Cousin Pat and I were playing church upstairs in the front bedroom. I was the preacher and I was doing a pretty good job of imitating my Dad. We were singing and clapping and stomping and the whole sanctified routine. Suddenly, Barbara was convicted with her maturity and insight to stop playing around so much and have church for real, so we started praying and having what we called back then "tarrying service". To make a long story short, I received the Holy Ghost! I spoke with tongues. Barbara, knowing we being just kids would probaby not be believed so she had the idea to put me on the phone as I spoke so several church members could hear. That is probably one of the greatest memories I have. Benii Clemons
