S: Creation Myth By: Carly Williams

BC: But soon many problems arose | People were starving due to the lack of food and fresh water, and their souls were left to wander the darkness. | Paleo heard their cries but did not know what to do. One day Lumni came to her husband's side and suggested a solution. She suggested creating more gods to care for the people. At first Paleo was reluctant, but he finally agreed. After this the Earth was once again a happy place. And only in a time of need would the Earth need another god to watch over them

FC: In the beginning there was a great emptiness, by the name of Coel. | From this darkness sprang Paleo and Lumni.

1: One day, in the great darkness, Lumni got lost and could not find her husband Paleo. | In order to find him, she created the stars. When she finally found Paleo she was so excited that she created the biggest star in the sky. Lumni named this star the sun.

2: Paleo was astonished by his wife's creation. He gazed upon the beauty of the stars day and night.

3: But soon he felt that something was missing... but what? | Paleo and Lumni finally realized that the universe needed more life within it | They created many planets until they finally created a perfect one. They called this amazing creation Earth

4: Paleo and Lumni went on creating. They made mountains where they could sit on and see all. They then made trees, grass, and flowers. | They then went on to create animals that crawled, climbed, dug, ran, and even flew. | But the creation of man was the most challenging of all. They wanted something that could learn and make use of the plants and animals put on the Earth.

5: Paleo sculpted with the strongest stone, because he wanted his creation to be strong and durable. He created the first man | His wife sculpted with the vines of the most beautiful rose bush, because she wanted her creation to be dangerous but beautiful. She created the first woman.
