2: You were born on a Friday. It was pouring on our way to Paoli Hospital. We didn't know until we got there that you'd be delivered that day by C-Section. Dad drove back home after you were born to get our things for spending the next 3 nights in the hospital with you. | September 2009 | Your poodles, Grover and Perry, were so excited to meet you!

3: You had to get an ultrasound on your hips when you were 5 days old, so we stopped for lunch at Panera with Aunt Taryn on the way to the clinic. | You loved going out to eat. By the time you were 12 days old, you were already on your third visit to Red Robin.

4: October 2009 | You got your first bath without your Pavlik harness. | You went to your first Phillies game on Sunday, October 4, and you slept the whole time! The next week, we celebrated your 1 Month Day at Victory. | You were a zebra AND a giraffe for Halloween this year.

5: November 2009 | We had Thanksgiving dinner at Nonna and Paddy's house with Mom-Mom, Great Grandma, and Mom's Uncle Stephen and Uncle John. Then, the next day we went to help Uncle Dave with one of his movies. You got a starring role! We had a second Thanksgiving dinner that night with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Dave, and Uncle Tom in York. | You met Aunt Devin and Uncle Alan for the first time. Devin was home from France for a quick weekend trip. | You took your first road trip to Boston. | Happy Thanksgiving

6: Your first snow was on Dad's birthday! We were at Nonna and Paddy's house for Nonna's surprise 50th birthday party. | Your first day of school was on Monday, December 7. Miss Jen was your teacher. | Merry Christmas | Aunt Taryn and Mark cooked a birthday dinner for Dad this year.

7: December 2009 | To: Sophie Love: Santa | You met Grandpa Bill for the first time. | This year, we went to Nonna and Paddy's for brunch on Christmas, and then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner.

8: January & February 2010 | There were 51.5 inches of snow in Philadelphia in February, which tops the previous record by 20 inches! Overall, there were close to 80 inches of snow this winter.

9: Happy Valentine's Day | You started eating rice cereal this month.

10: March 2010 | Happy 6 Month Day! | We got to meet Brayden this month when Melisa brought him to Nonna and Paddy's house for the first Annual Spring Dinner. We also had dinner at Great Grandma's house in New Jersey on Palm Sunday. | Your first real food was sweet potatoes. You loved them!

11: We went to Great Grandma's house in Macungie for Easter since Grandma and Grandpa and Nonna and Paddy were all away on vacation. | April 2010

12: You did a lot of things for the first time this month, including swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's house with Dad and Perry and pulling yourself up to stand on the furniture at home. | May 2010

13: June 2010 | Grandpa Bill visited us for Father's Day, and you got to go with him and Dad to visit all of the Allentown Tridicos. | Grandma and Grandpa had a surprise 25th anniversary party at Iron Hill Brewery in Lancaster. | Aunt Devin moved back from France this month to live with Alan in Baltimore.

14: You loved taking the dogs to Lloyd Park. Both dogs got to be off of their leashes and play in the stream. | July 2010 | Dad went on a 2-week trip to Tanzania for work. The dogs were really good at protecting the house while he was gone. You and Mom went on some small road trips to visit Melisa and Brayden in New Jersey, Great Grandma in Macungie, and Aunt Devin and Alan in Baltimore.

15: August 2010 | We drove over 16 hours and 900 miles from Vero Beach to Washington D.C. in one day! | This month, we decided to take you on a road trip. Dad planned the itinerary. We stayed in Arlington, Atlanta, Vero Beach, and Washington D.C. This was your first trip to the beach, and your first trip to some museums. | You loved the mammal room at the National Museum of Natural History. | You stopped eating baby food on this trip. You wanted to eat REAL food!
