2: Two and a half years ago entered the sweetest girl in the school, who we didn't realize at first but she turned out to be really cool. She was so quiet and so kind, and when she didn't get her way she really didn't mind. we didn't get a chance to know her well at first, but now her presence quenches our thirst. in running races boy is she quick, and is skinny of course she is a stick. how many talents she has we realized straight away, and her smile always knows how to brighten up our day. a sweet girl like Rebecca is quite impossible to find and her poetry always amazes us and blows our minds! at gymnastics WOW is she a pro and when she does her backbends boy does she go low. finding out that this lovely girl is moving away, i was so shocked and upset i had no idea what to say! Rebecca we love you and we will always Love you forever and we hope that very soon we will be back together. we are so sad to see you go, but just before you leave, think we'll forget you oh no! 3: Cook Time: 25 minutesTotal Time: 25 minutesIngredients:DOUGH:7 ounces (200 grams) butter8 ounces (250 grams) cream cheese1/4 cup sugar1 teaspoon vanilla extract2 cups all-purpose flour CHOCOLATE FILLING:1 tablespoon cocoa1 tablespoon cinnamon1/2 cup sugar1/2 cup grated bitter-sweet chocolate butter, melted TOPPING:1 egg1/4 cup sugar | Preparation: 1. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and cream cheese together. Add sugar and vanilla, and mix until smooth. Add flour and mix lightly. Refrigerate dough for an hour or more. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 3. Divide the dough into four balls. On a floured surface, using a floured rolling pin, roll one ball out into a circle until about 1/8 inch thick. 4. In a small bowl, mix the first four filling ingredients together (cocoa, cinnamon, sugar, grated chocolate). Spread some melted butter on the center of the circle. Sprinkle the chocolate mixture on top. 5. Cut the pastry into pie-shaped wedges. For bite-size and nice looking Rugelach, the thick end of the wedge should about an 1 to 1 1/2 inch wide. 6. Start at the wide edge of the wedge and roll the dough up toward the point. 7. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place each pastry, seam side down, on the paper. 8. Brush each pastry with the egg and sugar. 9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden. TIPS: 1. Using too much filling leads to messy looking Rugelach. 2. A pizza cutter makes it easier to cut the dough into pie-shaped wedges. 3. If you don't want to use parchment paper, you can spray the cookie sheets with non-stick spray. 4. After rolling the dough up and placing on the parchment paper, you can stick them in your freezer. When you need fresh Rugelach, take them right from the freezer into the oven and add a few minutes to the baking time.

7: Ingredients 1 cup white sugar2 tablespoons all-purpose flour3 tablespoons cornstarch1/4 teaspoon salt1 1/2 cups water2 lemons, juiced and zested2 tablespoons butter4 egg yolks, beaten1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked4 egg whites6 tablespoons white sugar Ingredients | Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). To Make Lemon Filling: In a medium saucepan, whisk together 1 cup sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Stir in water, lemon juice and lemon zest. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil. Stir in butter. Place egg yolks in a small bowl and gradually whisk in 1/2 cup of hot sugar mixture. Whisk egg yolk mixture back into remaining sugar mixture. Bring to a boil and continue to cook while stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat. Pour filling into baked pastry shell. To Make Meringue: In a large glass or metal bowl, whip egg whites until foamy. Add sugar gradually, and continue to whip until stiff peaks form. Spread meringue over pie, sealing the edges at the crust. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until meringue is golden brown.

11: Ingredients 1 1/2 cups wholemeal self-raising flour 3/4 cup self-raising flour 2/3 cup cocoa powder 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 1 cup caster sugar 2 eggs, lightly beaten 2 large, over-ripe bananas, mashed (see note) 3/4 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup vegetable oil Icing 1 1/2 cups icing sugar mixture 1 tablespoon cocoa powder 2 to 3 tablespoons milk, warmed Method | 1. Preheat oven to 180C. Lightly grease an 8-cup capacity, 24cm fluted ring tin. Sift flours, cocoa and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl. Add husks from sieve. Add sugar. Stir to combine. Make a well in the centre. 2. Combine eggs, banana, buttermilk and oil in a jug. Pour into well. Stir to combine. 3. Spoon cake mixture into prepared tin. Smooth surface. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Stand cake for 5 minutes in tin. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool. 4. Make icing: Sift icing sugar and cocoa into a bowl. Add milk. Using a wooden spoon, mix until smooth. Pour icing over cooled cake. Using a flat-bladed knife, spread over top. Allow icing to run down sides. Stand for 20 minutes or until icing sets. Serve.

13: 2 lg. pkgs. crescent rolls 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. sugar 1 egg, separated | Cheese Danish Soften cheese. Combine cheese, lemon juice, sugar, vanilla, egg yolk. Mix until fluffy. Line 9"x12" pan with 1 package of rolls. Spread cheese mixture over rolls. Cover with other package of rolls. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Add 1 teaspoon sugar to egg white. When Danish is medium brown, remove from oven and brush with egg white mixture. Return to oven until deep brown. Cool. Put one cup powdered sugar in small bowl. Add small amount of milk (2 to 3 tablespoons) and mix until dripping consistency. Dip brush in and dribble over Danish. Let cool overnight in refrigerator before eating. Variations: Add raisins, cherries or other fruits to filling

15: Gingerbread Biscuits: Makes about 20 biscuits 50g plain flour 2 teaspoons ground ginger 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda 100g butter or margarine 175g soft light brown sugar 1 egg 4 tablespoons of golden syrup or maple syrup Large cookie cutters | 1.Dip a paper towel in some margarine and rub it over two baking sheets. Turn on your oven to 190C. 2.Sift the flour, ginger and bicarbonate of soda into a mixing bowl. Cut the butter or margarine into chunks and add them. 3.Rub the butter or margarine into the flour with your fingers, until the mixture looks like fine breadcrumbs. Stir the sugar into the mixture. 4.Break the egg into a small bowl. Add the syrup to the egg and beat them together well. 5.Stir the eggy mixture into the flour. Mix everything together with a metal spoon until it makes dough. 6.Sprinkle a clean work surface with flour and put the dough onto it. Stretch the dough by pushing it away from you. 7.Fold the dough in half. Turn it and push it away from you again. Continue to push, turn and fold until the dough is smooth, 8.Sprinkle a little more flour onto your work surface. Roll out the dough until it is about 5mm thick. 9.Use the cookie cutters to cut lots of shapes from the dough. Lift the shapes onto the baking sheets. 10.Put the trays into the oven and bake them for 12-15 minutes. They will turn golden brown. 11.Leave the biscuits on the sheets for about five minutes. Then, lift them onto a wire rack. Leave them to cool.
