FC: Connor Finds His Football by Aunt Cathy
Merry Christmas! Love, Aunt Cathy | 2010
Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Connor. He had a brother and lots of sisters to play with. His favorite toy was a football from his daddy. He would play with it every morning while the other children were in school. One day, Connor woke up to find... his football was missing! It was not in his closet and it was not under his bed. He decided to go out into the world and search for it.
Connor knew that he needed to be very quick to find his football before naptime. A car would be too slow, and Connor couldn't reach the pedals anyway. So he hired a plane and pilot to help him look. Flying was very exciting!
The first place Connor went was to the Great Wall of China. Not many people have footballs in China, so maybe someone here had taken it! Connor enjoyed eating eggrolls and fried rice for lunch. But his football was not in China.
Next, Connor and his plane went to England. He liked England, because he could tell what they were saying. A nice lady wearing a crown even helped Connor change his diaper and open his little bag of Cheerios. But no football!
Connor decided to go to Africa next. He thought he saw his football off in the distance, but it turned out to be a rock. Connor didn't mind, because while he sat on the rock... one...two..three.. four elephants went by!
Just when he was about to give up looking, Connor heard about a giant stadium in Italy. Surely this was where his football was! But when Connor got there, he laughed at the idea of anyone playing football in such a messy place.
Connor was very sad not to find his football anywhere. But he was very sleepy and ready for his nap, so he got in his plane and headed for home.
When Connor got home, he was very surprised! Coming toward him, he saw.....
...his brother Christian holding the football!
Christian had taken it with him to visit kindergarten at MCS. Connor was very very happy to see his football again.
As he finally lay in his crib for naptime, Connor held on to his football and and smiled as he dreamed about the day's adventures. The End
