Lazy Days spent on the beach
Relaxing nights spent at the bar with our favorite bartender David and waitress Ana
Troy and I decided to take the dune buggy tour on advice from Lorna | Here is the start of the tour. Friends we met, Boomi and her husband Sasha
First leg of the trip took us along the highway to a beautiful beach. | (quite literally)
We had a fun (if not too short) time at this beach. It was absolutely beautiful and had great waves for body surfing. My bottoms were a little too big and I kept having to pull them up after catching a wave, but I didn't want to risk ruining a good bathing suit getting dirty on the buggy's, so this is what I wore.
Next stop took us to the main tourist trap of a ton of shops set up by a natural freshwater cave. So after being hounded to buy stuff, Troy took a dip in the cave. Far left picture is me trying to get a pic of Mark Paul Gossler (sitting on rock). Far right is our tour guide.
Our last stop on the tour was to a farm where they make cigars, coffee and honey. | By the end of the trip we had made good friends with these couples and spent the ride home joking around and chatting. | I had not worked up the nerve to ask Mark Paul Gossler for a picture, so tried shamelessly to get one of him without being too obvious. I found out much later that the girl with him (who was wearing an engagement ring) was not outed as his fiance in Hollywood until almost 2 months later.
Troy and I spent the afternoon at the pool one day and I had a VERY strong rum punch. There has to be one day Maria gets tipsier than she planned.
I have no idea what Troy is pointing to.
And then the evenings after drinking in the afternoon. I think that is why I look cranky in this picture?? Troy gets to relax while I get ready. Maybe that's what I'm cranky about..
Troy and I had one night's supper booked at the fancy romantic restaurant. Here we are in our spiffy duds. It was nice to be all dressed up. And if I do say so myself, we look pretty good!
After Troy went parasailing in Mexico I have really wanted to, but not alone. Luckily for me there was double parasailing just down the beach from the resort.
