FC: revolutionary love. | REVOLUTIONARY LOVE

popo, we planted our seeds in very modest soil and watered them with sweat. the sun was nothing more than the trust illuminated by our elders and here we are, growing amidst the magedy of revolutionary love. cheers to 2012, sis

Revolutionary Love: When revolutionary love sets its roots takes hold blossoms and fruits emotions will emerge urge and purge indoctrination, rhetoric and shallow ideologies from all of our actions and psychologies cause when revolutionary love sets its roots takes hold blossoms and fruits a vision for democracy based in a philosophy of mutual aid, solidarity and equality will come forth in our community

cause here in New Orleans environmental and social situations have produced working relations that tie all of us to this struggle of conceptualizing, theorizing, visualizing and actualizing horizontal ecosystems accompanied by the relief workers first duty to listen

and then followed up with a collective fist-en-em into those Nagins, Blancos, Bushes and every last one of em politikin fools who care more about an electoral win then if their constituents will not metaphorically sink--but swim

and through this relief efforts existence has emerged inexplicable sustainable resistance anchored in our friendships where we have no shame for not knowing our co-workers last name cause we be in overtime in this game

and as the clock winds down, the fight begins now to get our revolutionary roots deep into the ground cause the specualtor carpetbaggin' real estate scumbags are all around hoping that New Orleans won't make a sound

and to them, I say FUCK YOU cause the obligation of this movement's humane effort is to see that silence will not prevail after the tears of the evacuee's trail and that the road HOME remains open with diverse avenues for all of New Orleans to Wail to scream Ya Basta Enough is Enough

cause in Chiapas, NAFTA was the straw that broke the camels back that sent the guerillas on the attack to defend the land that is rightfully theirs

and just like the man-made havoc of free trade capitalism existed long before NAFTA the man-made disasters of unjust heirarchy white supremacy and poverty dominated New Orleans society corrupting the city's democracy and unfortunately

it took a hurricane to expose for the world to see all the widespread unmet human need

so we're here cause the system's wars are still raging the occupations of iraq, afghanistan, and the ninth ward continue aging

we're here to build jobs not tied to the war economy while respecting our differences and autonomy we're here creating righteous zoning boards who fight for housing that we all can afford and don't sacrifice our neighborhoods to the get-rich-quick developers who are going to replace our sources of livelihoods, cultures and homes with luxury condos that none of us will ever be able to own

we're here to say no more to the corporate agendas to with our lives we surrendah

so the corporations and government bettah watch out!

cause when revolutionary love sets its roots takes hold blossoms and fruits our analysis will no longer be a paralysis our arteries and veins will no longer be filled with the system's pains but with the blood of passion and struggle against power concentrated in a white political huddle and despite how subtle the state is we gonna uncover their web of business and spin communities who've internalized ways to always resist

Cause in New Orleans right now this revolutionary love is setting its roots, taking hold blossoming and giving fruit ...
