34: Dear friends and family, It's through you that I find my love for cooking. If the smell of food was not common in our houses I might not have the same passion. But growing up where a family meal meant the whole family helping in cooking, it is clear that I would develop a love and appreciation for food. I can still remember when I was young and we would decorate 100 cookies and Grandma would be cooking. Every holiday the family would get together | 34

35: and through food we would connect. Many of the recipes in my cookbook are recipes that have been remembered by heart by my family. And each time they are cooked it brings back the memories and love. This is why this cookbook means so much, it's my family and friends in a book. And each time I open it I will remember the importance of family and friends and how food truly does bring people together. | Sincerely, Heather Bundy | 35
