1: Island Palm Communities Location - Oahu, Hawaii Development commenced - 2003 Home Construction began - July 2005 First Homes completed - June 2006 Projected Completion of Homes - 2018 Project Size - over 5,400 New Homes Project Scope - 1,702 Acres Project Cost - $ 2.33 billion Project Architect - Town & Home, Inc.

2: Beginning in 2003 Town and Home provided Architectural services for Island Palms Communities Island Palm Communities, a partnership between developer Lend Lease and the U. S. Army, represents the Department of Defense's largest military family housing privatization project. The project included 32 master planned neighborhoods on seven different military installations on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Upon completion it will be the largest solar powered housing community in the U. S. with six megawatts of solar power that is expected to provide up to 30 percent of the energy needs

10: There were 54 different home floor plan designs developed with 24 of the plans having alternate exterior elevations. The homes were 3, 4 or 5 bedrooms with 11 of the plans being ADA adaptable homes.

12: The Homes were single family, duplex, 3-plex and 4-plex building types. Most of the homes had slab-on-grade foundations. There were 6 designed with pier foundations only and 9 designed for both foundation types.

14: There were 31 JNCO duplex building types. The SNCO rank building types were 24 single family, 1 duplex, 1 3-plex and 2 4-plex. The 23 FGO / SEO / GO plans were all single family buildings. Total with alternate elevations and foundation types there were 94 different building combinations.

19: Master Planned Neighborhoods Kalakaua Phase 1, Poster Phase 1, Kalakaua Phase 2, Poster Phase 2, Ama, Kaena, Bougainville, Red Hill Mauka, Moyer Phase 1, Moyer Phase 2, Makai View, Plumeria, Wili Wili, Simpson Wisser, Aloala Phase 1, Skyview, Hau'oli Heights, Rim Loop, Radar Hill, Funston Village, Valley View Phase 1, Hibiscus, Red Hill Makai, Rainbow Village, Helemano, Kalakaua Phase 3, Valley View Phase 2, Rice Manor, Santa Fe, Aloala Phase 2, Akolea, Patriot

21: The Simpson Wisser neighborhood at Ft. Shafter was selected to be part of the USGBC plot for Neighborhood Development. It earned the designation of a LEED Certified Neighborhood with all the homes in the neighborhood built to meet or exceed the LEED silver standards.

22: The Generals House Two of these homes were built in the Red Hill Mauka Neighborhood
