Table of Contents -Prime Numbers -Composite Numbers -Inverse Operation -Slop Intercept Form
Prime Numbers | Prime numbers - a number with only two factors being 1 and its self | Ex: 17 = 1, 17 because 17 x 1 are the only factors that can be multiplied together to make 17.
Composite Numbers | Composite numbers - any number with 3 or more factors | Ex: 10 = 1, 2, 5, 10 because 10 has more then just two factors other then just one and its self. | All numbers in white are composite.
Inverse Operation | Inverse Operation- Operations that "undo" each other. Addition and subtraction are inverse operations. Simplifying expressions by doing the opposite. Problems that undo themselves.
Expressions vs. Equation | Expression- a number sentence with no equal sign Equation- a number sentence with an equal sign
Slop Intercept Form | Slop Intercept Form- An equation written in the form y+mx+b, where m is the slop and be is the b is the y-intercept. Ex: y=7x+2
 Y- intercept | Y-Intercept - The value for y where the graph crosses the y-axis. Ex: y=7x+2, the 2 is the y-intercept
Function | Function - where a rule determines the change from the input value in order to change it into the output value Ex: 4x-4=y
