 Jamis' Letter

Jamis, Today, I'm going to stand in front of all of our friends and family and promise to spend the rest of my life loving and honoring you. It's quite a big promise to make but one that I know I will keep. I will keep this promise because I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know today I will be busy decorating and getting ready, but know that I will be thinking about you and missing you terribly. You cant fully understand how you make me feel Jamis. With you, I'm me. I feel loved unconditionally and that makes me feel free. I feel that you've found something in me that you love and it doesn't matter if I'm having a bad day or if I am looking less than my best- you still see it and you love me because of it. That makes me feel like I can always be myself with you. I love you - I love every part of you. Your generosity is inspiring to me - You always find time to make me feel special and to ensure that I am happy. You have the ability to laugh at yourself and to have fun - thats such a wonderful thing. You always know how to look on the bright side and you encourage me to think positive. You have such determination - if you want something - you find a way to get it and work hard to achieve it - Because of this, I know you will be successful and reach your goals. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you. I hope that I can make you as happy and content as you make me. I hope that you will be proud of me as I am of you. I hope that you will believe in me as I believe in you and in us. Now you must go and get ready for our big moment. I am so excited to be standing at the altar next to you fulfilling my promise to marry you and love you for the rest of my life. I will see you soon, my Sweet-pea, my lobster and soon to be, my husband. Love Always Your Baby Girl

 Corrine's Letter

My Baby girl, You say I'm perfect and that you're the luckiest girl in the world, but you don't see what I see when I look at you. To me, you make me feel so lucky to even have you hold hands with me or even glance my way. I don't know what I did to deserve you in my life, but I thank god that you are in it. You are so unbelievably perfect and you are the perfect girlfriend, fiancée, lover, friend, person, companion in the world. You, my baby girl are the perfect one.... the perfect one for me. You are my life, the key to my heart, my other half, my soul mate, my Baby Girl I love you very much Ps I do!

 The Wedding March

A very warm welcome to everyone. I would like to take a moment to recognize the family members and to thank them for their love and support as Jamis and Corrine have grown into the two beautiful individuals here before us on this special day. Corrine’s parents Tony and Linda Phillips and Jamis’ parents Gary and Sharon McCamon, we thank you for always being there, teaching them values and showing them the beauty and joy of loving one another. This is also a time to celebrate all of those who have touched their lives but who are not able to be with us in person today. Elnora & George Larsen, Don Phillips, Jimmy Phillips, Warren Larsen, Dee Campbel, Michael McCamon, Sam Lindsay & Trish Lindsay, your love and spirit of support surrounds Jamis and Corrine as they commit their vows to one another. We are a part of everyone who has ever loved us; and so, let us take a moment of silent reflection for those who are not present today. | Ceremony Intro

Jamis and Corrine, you are about to make lifelong promises to one another. Today these vows are beautiful words representing more beautiful intentions, but you will learn as you live these vows over the years that to make this relationship work, it takes more than just love. It takes trust, to know in your hearts that you want only the best for each other. It takes dedication, to stay open and to learn from one another, even when it's difficult to do so. And it takes faith, to go forward together without knowing what the future holds for you both. A wife and a husband are each other's best friend, confidant, lover, teacher and listener and when two people pledge to love and care for each other in marriage they create a spirit unique to themselves, which binds them closer than any spoken or written words. Stand fast in that hope and confidence, believing in your shared future just as strongly as you believe in yourselves and in each other today. Only in this spirit can you create a partnership that will strengthen and sustain you all the days of your lives.

I would ask parents Gary and Sharon McCamon and Tony and Linda Phillips to stand - do you offer your blessings and support to the marriage of Jamis and Corrine? All say: We do.

Therefore: If any persons can show just and sufficient reason why these two persons may not be joined in matrimony, let them now declare these reasons, or from this time forward, keep their peace. I now call upon you both in the presence of these witnesses, to repeat after me

Corrine: I do solemnly declare that I do not know of any lawful impediment why I, Corrine Lynn Phillips may not be joined in matrimony to Jamis William McCamon. | Jamis: I do solemnly declare that I do not know of any lawful impediment why I, Jamis William McCamon may not be joined in matrimony to Corrine Lynn Phillips.

Corrine, from the moment I saw you I knew you were someone special. From the way you laugh at every fart on TV to the way you smile at my little nuances. | Jamis' Vows | Please face one another, join hands and share your vows:

You are the most kind-hearted, smart, generous, and trusting person I have ever known. Your beauty, your mind, and your heart inspire me to be the best person I can be.

My solemn vow is this: I promise to love you without reservation, to comfort you in times of distress, to encourage you to achieve all of your goals. To laugh with you, cry with you, to grow with you in mind, and spirit. To always be open and honest with you, cherishing you, respecting you, honoring you, being faithful to you, and sharing my life with you. All I ask in return is that you give me the honor of being my wife so that I can fulfill these vows.

Jamis long ago you were just a dream and a prayer. I never thought I would be so lucky as to find someone that makes me feel as special and loved as you make me feel. In the last 2 years, you have made me see & feel that true love, the kind you see in the movies, does exist. | Corrine's Vows

Your so kind and generous, your so wonderfully weird and every day with you is an adventure. Because of you, I smile & laugh and I am thankful to be alive every day. You were my first 777 and In the time that we have been together, you have taught me to always focus on the positive and to never settle for second best.

You have spent countless days watching Friends with me when I am down or ill. You think it's cute when I laugh at bodily functions. You bring me ice water at night, when you've noticed that I have forgotten. You rub my feet when they are sore and you blow me kisses goodbye while we drive side by side on our way to work. You make me feel beautiful every day, even when I am a mess and I catch you looking at me with a big smile on your face and such love in your eyes. These are only a few of the many things that you do daily that show me how much you truly love me.

I am Standing here today knowing that I have everything that I am ever going to need. I join my life to yours not merely as your wife, but as your best friend, your lover and your confidant. I will be the shoulder you lean on, the rock on which you rest & the companion of your life. I promise to sleep by your side, to be the joy of your heart, the food for your soul and the best person I can be for you. I pledge to respect your unique talents and abilities, to lend you strength for all your dreams, to laugh with you when times are good and to suffer with you when they are bad. I will always love you, respect you as an individual and be faithful to you forever. Today, I choose you to be my partner, and commit myself to you for as long as we both shall live.

The rings which you are about to exchange are an outward symbol of the inward promise that each of you have made to one another. They are your constant reminder that your hearts, minds and souls are spoken for. They are worn on the third finger due to an ancient belief that this finger has a direct link to the heart- the perfect place for a symbol representing eternal love and commitment. The beauty of these rings is not in their shine or luster, but rather in the nicks and scratches that come with time. It is the wear and tear that makes your love tested and true to one another. These rings mark the beginning of a long journey together, wear them proudly, for they are symbols of the love you have for each other. | The Rings

Corrine, I give you this ring, that you may wear it, as a symbol of the vows we have made this day. I give you my promise, that from this day forward you shall not walk alone, may my heart be your shelter, and my arms be your home. | Jamis, please place the ring you have for Corrine on her third finger left hand and repeat after me | Corrine, please place the ring you have for Jamis on his third finger left hand and repeat after me | Jamis, I give you this ring, that you may wear it, as a symbol of the vows we have made this day. I give you my promise, that from this day forward you shall not walk alone, may my heart be your shelter, and my arms be your home.

Jamis & Corrine You have consented in marriage, and have declared your solemn intention in this company, before these witnesses, and in my presence. You have exchanged these rings as the pledge of your love to one another, you have joined your hands to accept one another. Your two lives are now joined in one unbroken circle. Wherever you go, you may always return to one another in your togetherness. | The Declaration

MAGICAL MOMENTS | Now upon the authority vested in me by the Province of Alberta, I pronounce you "husband and wife" and you may kiss your bride.

I now invite you to go forward in your new lives together. May you find abundance, joy & happiness. May your lives together be filled with truth, love & understanding between you both. May you find success, fulfillment & peace. And most of all may you continually find each other.

Let not the spirit of this day be forgotten, but rather carry it forward in your hearts.

 The Signing

Jamis and Corrine, if there is anything you remember of this marriage ceremony, it is that it was love that brought you here today; it is only love, that can make it a glorious union, and it is by love, which your marriage shall endure.

As you begin your marriage, let your home be a haven of peace in the midst of a busy and changing world; let your relationship be one of complete truth, love and understanding between you both. Respect the confidences of your partner in this marriage, and consider that your marriage will yield what you give to it.

May you enjoy a long life, fulfill your hopes, feel content as you live day by day, and keep your promises to one another.

The Sand Ceremony | Jamis and Corrine you have just sealed your relationship by the giving and receiving of rings and the exchange of a kiss. This covenant is a relationship pledge between two people, who agree that they will commit themselves to one another throughout their lives. The most beautiful example of this partnership is the marriage relationship. You have committed here today to share the rest of your lives with each other.

Please take your container of sand and begin to pour the grains of sand into the empty one.

Today this relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two containers of sand into one, representing you, Jamis and all that you were, all that you are, and all you will ever be; and the other one representing you, Corrine and all that you were, all that you are, and all you will ever be.

As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist but will be joined together as one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be.

Corrine & Jamis A wise person once told me that magic happens at the most unexpected moments. we would have to disagree. Today has been planned for months and months and months, and it was still filled with magic. There was a time right before Jamis and Corrine got together that Jamis had actually tried to move back to the island. He applied for a transfer and he never got any word back. There was a reason for this and it was fate. He was never suppose to leave for he was about to truly fall in love with Corrine. | Josh & Ron's Speech

During the years we have known Jamis and Corrine, we have seen them have many ups and downs. Their relationship started as a true friendship, then grew into true love which neither of them seen coming Since coming together as a partnership, we have never seen either of them happier.

Love is blind and Corrine says she knows Jamis quite well, yet for some reason, she still agreed to marry him. Jamis and Corrine, you both deserve the very best in life and we know you have found it in each other. We know that you guys will have the best marriage and the greatest happiness life has to offer. Now for our toast because we are on a tight itinerary and we only have about 30 seconds left. Let us raise our glasses to the love between Jamis and Corrine that will grow stronger every day and to the bright future that lies ahead of them. To Jamis and Corrine

Hello everyone, I'm Brandy and I'm one of the maid of honors. I'd like to start out by saying thank you to you guys for letting me be a part of this day. It was amazing so far. So I really suck at giving speeches obviously and I don't want to say anything sappy because I'll cry and I don't want to wreck my makeup so I came up with some happy marriage guidelines for Jamis. | #1 Whenever you're wrong, admit it. Whenever you right, just be quiet, it'll be better for you in the long run. #2 The best way to remember an anniversary is to just forget one once. #3 Road maps and gps are always a good thing. Last but not least, never forget the two most important sayings... "You're right dear" and "ok buy it". | Brandy & Gwen's Speech

And now for the star of the show Corrine, you look gorgeous! And now to Gwen.

Hi my name is Gwen and I know Corrine through my husband Josh and them working together at Costco. I suck at giving speeches too and I'm very emotional. Like all of you here, I was so pleased when Corrine and Jamis found one another. Love like theirs is truly special and they were clearly meant for each other. Anybody that knows Corrine knows that everything is on an itinerary, so with that being said, I think my allotted time is almost up. So please join us in drinking to their continued love and happiness. To the Bride!

To my new Uncle Jamis. I have never seen my auntie so happy. Your positive outlook on life has brought out such brightness in her that she glows every time I see her. | Kyana's Speech

To Auntie, watching you walk down the isle and having your hand placed in Jamis' hand was like watching a fairytale unfold in front of my eyes. As a young girl wishes upon a star for a prince charming, and a happy ever after, seeing you and my new uncle Jamis together helps me believe that wishes do come true.

I can see now yours and Jamis' names written in the stars as soul mates forever. I wish you both from the bottom of my heart the best life has to bring. I love you both so very much!

Parents of the Bride Tony & Linda's Speech

Corrine & Jamis You both know what kind of a year we've had so far. This has got to be the highlight of it. Everything from now on is going to be better, we hope and pray. And I know with Jamis with us, like he has within the last year, he has shown support for you Corrine, he has shown his love for you and for us. He has been a stone for us to lean on and especially for you girls to lean on. Welcome to the family Jamis. Corrine, hold on to him, don't ever let him go. Love ya both!

I asked this lady one time, how you stay so happy? She said, you need three things. You need someone to love, something to do and something to look forward to. Three things, and I think these two people will have it. | Parents of the Groom Gary & Sharon's Speech

Jamis, when he was twelve, was pretty industrious. So one day, I'm going to put a stereo in the car. Sharon says "Jamis, get out there and help your dad". So one hour leads to two, two hours lead to three, finally we get it in, we're finished! We go back into the house and Sharon says "Jamis, what'd you learn?" "You should buy a car with a stereo already in it". Thats my boy! We have more but its to... I should tell you about the bicycle. Not the bicycle. The coat! We lived across the street from the school, how did you lose it from there to here? "I don't know!"

But I think he's better now, I don't think he loses near as many things as he used to. Do you? There you go buddy. We love you, always have, always will. We're glad to have Corrine in the family. May you come and visit us. Lots and Lots. You could all come and visit us. We got lots of room. Anyway buddy, all the best to both of you. For a long, long, long time.

I just love you, welcome to the family Corrine and I've never seen him happier.

 Jamis' Speech

First off, I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge all the people here being on our special day. | Josh, you've been my friend for a number of years and you have enriched my life during that time. There is not a better friend someone can ask for. You offered me your time when i needed it, and the occasional drink that follows. You helped me through a monumental part of my life and you were there to offer me advice and encouragement to see me through it. For that I thank you.

To Ron, Ron you are the go to guy that everyone needs in their life. You are always willing to drop everything to help anyone that needs it. The fact that you flew from Manitoba while on vacation there just to be here to show your support shows what kind of character you have as a friend. Thank you!

To my mom and dad, Thank you for showing me the way in life and for giving me the advice to find happiness. Your wisdom has never steered me wrong and you have enriched my life. You've taught me so much and have given me so much love for everything. I thank you for everything you have done for me.

To my brother Michael, I know you're looking down on us and giving us your love. You had such a kind heart and loving spirit. Those that knew you, know that you love to laugh, and had an innocent soul. I miss you so much, I wish you could have been here today to share in our love. Thank You!

Oh.... Jamis warned me that if I called our wedding a party one more time, that I wouldn't be invited! Well honey, it's too late because I'm here to stay! | Corrine's Speech | Beautiful speech honey. I would first like to thank all of you for being here today, especially since many of you who know me knew that my speech would be long and probably emotional... It's very touching that you still decided to come anyways. I will try to make it quick and painless so that we can get this party started!

We have some guests that have traveled afar to be here with us today. Jamis' parents Gary and Sharon McCamon, his sister Stacey and her husband Sean from Victoria BC, My sister Carrie and her fiancé Jayson and their 3 boys (my ring & train bearers) from McLennan AB. My maid of honor Nicole from Regina SK, Jamis' Aunt Sandy and Uncle Dale Roste from Leduc, my cousin Rhonda, Neil and Caysie from Hepburn SK, (who also made our beautiful wedding cake and cupcakes, thank you so much!) my Aunt Sharon from Younstown AB and my cousin Shayne and his family from Rycroft AB. Thank you for showing your support by traveling the distance to be here with us today, it means the world to Jamis and I that you think so highly of us.

Now, I know that I just got to say what I feel in my vows a couple of hours ago, but I couldn't stop crying so I am going to try again. Jamis, from the moment we got engI have been thinking about this wedding. I just wanted everything to be perfect and was determined not to overlook even the most insignificant detail. But I realize now that I didn't have to worry because Josh and Ron did a great job of dragging you here for me. | I am so glad to e married to Jamis; he is caring, talented, modest, charming, handsome and so much more. Seriously, I don't think there could ever be anyone in this world more perfect for me than Jamis is and I appreciate my good fortune in marrying such a warm hearted and loving man. We have been work friends since 2004, going for smoke breaks together, talking about anything and everything and having fun at work.

When we first started dating, I was attracted to his looks and sense of humor, but it didn't take long before I fell deeply in love with his personality, his heart & his sentimental ways. Jamis brings out the good in me, He makes me laugh and he makes me enjoy each and every moment of life just by being a part of mine. They say that you don't marry someone you can live with - you marry the person you cannot live without. This is certainly true with Jamis, I simply couldn't live without him and I look forward to growing old and gray with him at my side.

Today would have not have gone nearly so well without the generous help of so many people - and I know my husband has already taken care of the 'thank yous' , but I would like to single out a few of you for my own praise.

Firstly, my wonderful mother who has been a pillar of strength over the last seven months. She has endured so much pain and sadness, but continued to put on a strong face for my sisters and I. In my life she has made me very happy and I must take this opportunity to hank her not only for her patiences and love, but also for her help in planning and executing such a wonderful day as today.

Moving on to my father, who I had feared five months again would not be here to walk me down the aisle today, thank god he's a tough ad stubborn man because he is here today with the biggest smile I have ever seen on his face. | My dad is a strong and sentimental man as well as a devoted family man. We are very close and not surprisingly, given his spirit, his generosity and his wisdom, I've looked up to him. It would take quite a man to live up to my father, but in Jamis, I have found that man.

There are other parents I would like to thank too - My husband's, for there continuous support in the lead up to the wedding. Sharon and Gary made me fell so welcome right from the very first time I met them and I fell immensely fortunate to have married into such a great family. My sincere wish is that together Jamis and I can build a home that is as welcoming and full of food, love and happiness as theirs is. Of course I have another special reason to thank Sharon and Gary - - their care and guidance over the years has had a very positive influence over Jamis and their very best qualities have rubbed off on him. | They raised him so that he'd grow up to be a perfect husband. Look how well he did today saying ' I \do' at the right place in the ceremony. As long as he keeps saying ' yes dear' we'll have a wonderful marriage.

Our supporting bridal party deserves recognition as well. Our groomsman Ron and the best man Josh, thank you so much for enduring my many emails of itineraries, texts with loads of questions and concerns, and just tolerating my OCD. I had Ron running all over the place looking for lights to us here today. And after sending an email out with the wedding day itinerary, I received a call seconds after I hit send from Josh (the best man) expressing his concern that I was only giving him 5 minutes for his speech! I realized mine is taking more than 5 minutes, but I'm the bride and I can do whatever I want.

My bridesmaid Chalsie who has been more of a friend to me than a niece. You are always so cheery and sweet and I love our girl time together. Thank you for standing by me today. Oh and it's Chalsie's 16th Birthday in 3 days!! Happy Birthday sweetheart I love you.

My other bridesmaid Gwen who has been a terrific help to me, not only today, but throughout the many weeks of intense wedding preparations. You and Josh are so fun to be around, singing on the karaoke machine, dancing to Wii games, and of course playing skaboo for shots of hot sex!

My Maid of honor Nicole who has been there for me through so much pain and heartache throughout the last four years. Although you have moved away from me breaking my heart, I fee;l we are still s close as we were when you were here and I love you just as much, if not more. I miss the shopping, dining, and movies, but most of all, I just miss you!

Brandy your friendship has been a source of strength to me throughout the last six years and I felt honored to have you standing with me today. No mater how crummy I fell you always manage to pick me up making me laugh so hard that I cry. I love you so much girl, thank you.

My two beautiful flower girls Satyra and Kyana whom always smother me with hugs and kisses. I love you both so dearly thank you so much for all your love and support.

The cutest ring bearer ever my youngest nephew Jeremy. You did such a great job carrying the rings and protecting them from harm. I am so proud of you and I love you so much.

 And last but not least....

My two very handsome train bearers, two more of my nephews, Josh and Jayden. You did an excellent job of keeping your aunt's wedding gown from getting dirty and for not showing her panties!!

Finally, Let me end as I began by thanking you all once again for coming tonight. I can honestly say that today would not be the same if we had not been in the company of our dearest friends and family.

At weddings it is the guests that create the party atmosphere and all of you have certainly done that for us. May I propose a toast to love, laughter and friendship.

Who is the biggest flirt our of the two of you? Who is the most likely to eat desert for breakfast? Who has the wackiest family? Who spends the most time in front of the mirror? Who is the better kisser? | The Shoe Game | Who is the better driver? Who said I love you first? Who is the better cook? Who made the first move? Who is most likely to use all the hot water?

Who is the most likely to run late? Who is the most likely to wake up grumpy in the morning? Who do you love most in the whole wide world? Who snores the most? | Who wears the pants in the family? And who wears the panties? Who spends the most time getting ready to go out? Who is in charge of the check book? Or who should be?

The Bride & Grooms First Dance

Saw you walk into the room Thought I'd try to talk to you Babe am I ever glad you wanted me too It's been two years to the day Half the time I've been away I know I'm not there enough but that's gonna change Cause I'm coming back To show you that I'm keeping the promise I made When I'm with you I'll make every second count Cause I miss you Whenever you're not around When I kiss you I still get butterflies years from now I'll make every second count when I'm with you Yeah we've had our ups and downs But we've always worked them out Babe am I ever glad we've got this far now Still I'm lying here tonight Wishing I was by your side Cause when I'm not there enough Nothing feels right So I'm coming back to show you that I'll love you the rest of my life When I'm with you I'll make every second count Cause I miss you When ever you're not around When I kiss you I still get butterflies years from now I'll make every second count When I'm with you Whatever it takes I'm not gonna break the promise I made When I'm with you I'll make every second count Cause I miss you | When I'm with you by Faber Drive

I ain't got no money, I ain't got no car to take you on a date I can't even buy you flowers But together we can be the perfect soul mates Talk to me girl Oh, baby, it's alright now, you ain't gotta flaunt for me If we go and touch, you can still touch my love, it's free We can work without the perks just you and me Thug it out 'til we get it right Baby if you strip, you can get a tip 'Cause I like you just the way you are (I'm about to strip and I'm well equipped Can you handle me the way I are?) 142: The Father & the Brides Dance

Look at the two of you dancing that way Lost in the moment and each other's face So much in love you're alone in this place Like there's nobody else in the world I was enough for her not long ago I was her number one, She told me so And she still means the world to me, Just so you know So be careful when you hold my girl Time changes everything, Life must go on And I'm not gonna stand in your way But I loved her first and I held her first And a place in my heart will always be hers From the first breath she breathed, When she first smiled at me I knew the love of a father runs deep And I prayed that she'd find you someday But it's still hard to give her away I loved her first How could that beautiful woman with you Be the same freckle face kid that I knew The one that I read all those fairy tales to And tucked into bed all those nights And I knew the first time I saw you with her It was only a matter of time From the first breath she breathed When she first smiled at me I knew the love of a father runs deep Someday you might know what I'm going through When a miracle smiles up at you I loved her first | I Loved her First by Heartland

The Mother & the Grooms Dance

I've never been, The one to raise my hand That was not me, And now that's who I am Because of you, I am standing tall My heart is full Of endless gratitude You were the one, The one to guide me through Now I can see, And I believe It's only just beginning This is what we dream about, But the only question with me now Is do I make you proud Stronger than I've ever been now, Never been afraid of standing out Do I make you proud I guess I’ve learned, To question is to grow, That you still have faith, Is all I need to know, I’ve learned to love, Myself in spite of me, And I’ve learned to, Walk on the road I believe. Everybody needs to rise up, Everybody needs to be loved To be loved Everybody need to rise on, Everybody needs to be loved, to be loved This is what we dream about, But the only question with me now Is do I make you, do I make you proud This is what we dream about, Never been afraid of standing out Do I make you proud Stronger than I've ever been, Never been afraid of standing out Do I make you proud Do I make you proud | Do I make you Proud by Taylor Hicks
