1: Manta Sting Rays are know as carnivores. they are not know for scavenging Their diet is mostly plankton. They also eat fish larvae ,and eat small organisms that comes from their gill rackers. This type of feeding is know as ram-jet feeding. Manta ray can be up to 25 ft. in length and weigh as much as 5,00 pounds | Facts

2: They tend to stay close to the coral reef. They live mostly throughout the Atlantic ocean. Including the regions of south Carolina, Brazil, and Bermuda. They also live near the shores of Africa, the Red Sea, and the Bay of Bengal | Distribution

3: Physical Adaptations | Manta rays have evolved from bottom feeders. Then adapted to become filter feeders. This adaptation allowed them to grow larger than other ray species. Due to eating plankton they have lost many of their ancestral traits.

4: Solitary, non territorial. They have fish under them that eats the parasites and dead skin. It doesn't have much predators due to its tough skin and size. | Behavioral Adaptations
