The Adventures of Alexander & Matthias 2012-2013
It all began the dayAlexander James was born. It was January 31, 2012. Then, four months later...
Matthias Edward was born, It was May 25, 2012. Their Mama's and Dada's were full of joy.
When they were very young, Alex and Matty liked to sleep a lot.
They liked to be held, especially by their Dada's | and by their Mama's.
Soon, they grew a little bit bigger.
They stayed awake a little bit longer. They began to play with each other, and chew on everything.
By the time the flowers bloomed the following year, Alex and Matty were standing tall.
Their adventures were as plentiful as the sunshine that summer. They picked strawberries and sat under the shade of the cherry blossoms.
They discovered a mutual love for cars and trucks and things that go.
They got wet. They got messy. They got dirty. They got clean.
Munch munch. Crunch crunch. They stopped often to refuel. You name it, they ate it!
Every boy needs a break too. Deep breaths. They relaxed.
 But not for long...
And patting the soft sheep who were also there. | Why of course. So much to do in those bright summer days! | More you say? | Like riding the tractors at the County Fair. | ... as there were more adventures!
Phew, those were busy boys! | And don't forget swinging and running and | laughing and jumping and spinning and...
By the end of the summer they were such wonderful friends, they gave each other new names. Introducing... "Ali Ali" and "Matt Matt"!
Along came the Fall, and down the leaves fell.
Then soon came the Winter, with cold, ice and snow. | Their adventurous spirits never waned. To the Capitol and beyond!
What full years they had together as pals. What full years to come, more adventures to be had! | We shall not cease from exploration And the end of all our exploring Will be to arrive where we started And know the place for the first time. T. S. Eliot | But now they need rest. Night Night (for now!)
