The weather was fantastic and Nate even fell asleep and napped in his stroller!

 Nine Months Old

Nature Boy | Nate absolutely LOVES to go outside! It has been a wonderful tool for helping to calm fussiness (and even give medicine!). At 10 months old, everyone had to start spelling the words "stroll" and "outside", otherwise Nate will start heading towards the door waiting to go outside! No matter the time of day or what the weather's like- he wants to go outside! Nate loves strolls, playing on the grass in the front yard and playing with his trucks on the back porch. His most favorite thing is to play with (and try to eat) crunchy leaves that have fallen from the trees.

Nate also loves looking out the windows to see outside!

 Happy Halloween!

We went to visit the Peanuts gang in the Great Pumpkin's Pumpkin patch at the Bass Pro Shop!

Roll Tide! | Nate's first Halloween costume was Big Al- Alabama's mascot. We went trick-or-treating on the Square in Carrollton with Grandma Fae- many people yelled "Roll Tide!" We also went to visit Aunt Ann's friends, the Domains. They thoroughly enjoyed meeting "Little Big Al"

First Surgery | After several ear infections and many antibiotics, Nate needed tubes placed in his ears. His ENT Doctor was Dr. Phillip Say. He had the tubes put in very early in the morning at Childrens' Healthcare of Atlanta's Satellite Boulevard Surgery Center in Duluth, GA- Mommy, Daddy, and Nammie went with Nate. Nate got to wear his very first Hospital gown and meet many nurses and other hospital staff. He did a great job taking his tylenol and even got to pick out a toy from their toy cabinet. He took several minutes to decide, but ended up deciding on a bouncy basketball that lights up. The surgery took 5 minutes and Nate handled it very well- much better than any other nearby children who woke up very fussy. All the nurses were impressed with how calm Nate was after waking up! | 11.17.2011

Happy Thanksgiving! | Nate's first Thanksgiving was great! Great Aunt Mary, Grandpa Bill, Grandma Fae, and Grandpa Dan came to visit- (Nammie, Papa, Unca Chris, Mommy, and Daddy were there too!) Nate gave turkey a try, but did not want to try anything else- his Thanksgiving "feast" consisted of fruity cheerios and cut-up cheese ravioli. He did watch a few minutes of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade though!
