FC: Of Mice and Men By Jason Simm Period 3

1: A A is for Aunt Clara. Lennie's Aunt who asked George to take care of Lennie before she died.

2: B B is for Boss. The man who runs and owns the farm and Curley's dad.

3: C C is for Curley. Curley is a small belligerant man who dislikes big guys. He is also the only married worker.

4: D D is for death. Throughout the book a few deaths occur such as Lennie, Curley's wife, the puppy and mouse

5: E E is for Envy. Crooks always felt envied by George and Lennie's relationship

6: F F is for friendship. A bond that George and Lennie had.

7: G G is for George. He is one of the main characters. He is small, dark faced, smart and quick and often get Lennie out of trouble and travel with him.

8: H H is for hoof. The foot of a horse.

9: I I is for Imitate. Lennie liked to imitate George sometimes and was good at it.

10: J J is for jail bait. George warns the new ranch hands about Curley's wife

11: K K is for Kicked in the back. Crooks crooked back was caused by a horse who kicked him in the back.

12: L L is for Lennie George's companion. Lennie is a big man with great physical length. Lennie is mildly retarded and loves soft things

13: M M is for Mice or Mouse. Lennie loves to pet soft things. Lennie in Chapter 1 keeps a dead mouse in his pocket to keep and pet.

14: N N is for Nigger (a very inappropriate word). This word is used by the characters to describe black people such as Crooks.

15: O O is for opportunity. George and Lennie were offered many job opportunities that they took but then failed the job..

16: P P is for Pulp Magazine. A magazine that men read to pass time

17: Q Q is for questions. Lennie always asks questions especially about their future.

18: R R is for Rabbits. Tending Rabbits was Lennie's dream.

19: S S is soft. Lennie touched Curley's wife hair and find that it is soft.

20: T T is for Theme. Throughout the book many themes are displayed.

21: U U is for Unlucky. Lennie and George are unlucky people because they were run out of town.

22: V V is for Vulnerable. Lennie is a vulnerable adult because for his metal problems that cause him to think and act like a child.

23: W W is for Whit. A ranchhand

24: X X is forXanthocomic (yellow). This word describes Curley's wife hair. Blond and long.

25: Y Y is for Young. Lennie's mental issue make him young in mind and in turn make him act and think like a young kid.

26: z Z in for zany. Everyone thought the dreams that Lennie and George dreams were zany
