2: Cheddar Biscuits Ingredients 2C bisquick 2/3C whole milk 1/2C cheddar cheese 1/4C melted butter 1/2tsp old bay seasoning 1tsp dried parsley 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees 2. mix bisquick, milk and cheese together 3. Put on pan in 12 even balls 4. Put into the oven for 7 to 11 minutes 5. While in the oven mix butter and seasonings into a bowl and pour on top of biscuits when done

3: Chicken Caesar Salad Ingredients 2 Chicken breast halves 2t. oil 1/2 head romaine lettuce 1/4C shredded parmesan cheese 4 slices thick bread 2-3T butter Garlic seasoning Caesar Dressing as desired 1.Thaw the chicken. Slice it and season it with salt, pepper and other seasoning as desired 2.Fry chicken in the oil until completely cooked 3.Dice the bread into crouton sized pieces. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Place bread in the frying pan. Quickly coat the bread with melted butter. Season with garlic seasoning. Cook until toasty and slightly brown 4.Shred the lettuce and place in a bowl 5.Toss in the parmesan cheese 6.Toss with dressing. Serve and top with sliced chicken and croutons

4: Bok Choy Salad Ingredients 1 head of Bok Choy or lettuce, cut and chop leaves and stalk 2 to 3green onions, chopped 1/2C sesame seeds 1C sliced almonds 2tbsp sugar 2pkgs Ramen noodles crushed 1/2C butter 1. Mix 1/2C sugar, 1/4C red wine vinegar, 1tbsp soy sauce in a small bowl 2. In heavy skillet brown seeds, almonds, noodles,and sugar in butter. Let cool 3. Prepare bok choy and onions in large salad bowl 4. stir in cooked noodle mixture and pour dressing over top

5: Balsamic Roasted Vegetables Ingredients 2 Tbsp 1tsp Dijon mustard 1/2C extra-virgin olive oil 3 garlic cloves pressed 2tsp finely chopped thyme 1tsp finely chopped basil 2 large red onions, thinly sliced 1 yellow, red and orange peppers cut into 1/2inch wide stripes 1pound eggplant quartered and cut into slices 1/2 pound squash 1/2 pound zucchini salt 1. whisk vinegar, mustard, oil, garlic, thyme and basil 2. preheat oven to 450 degrees 3. Toss vegetables in large bowl; sprinkle with salt and add dressing 4. put into two large rimmed baking sheets and bake for 35mins or until vegetables are tender

6: Poached Pineapple Chicken Ingredients 4 Chicken Breasts 16oz pineapple chunks 2tsp lemon juice 2tsp brown sugar 2tsp soy sauce 1/2tsp ground ginger 8oz fine egg noodles 1. Place chicken in frying pan with pineapple juice. Cover and cook over low heat until chicken is cooked 2. Remove chicken; add brown sugar, lemon juice, soy sauce, and ginger to pan 3. Cook and stir until smooth and hot; add pineapple chunks and chicken to sauce; serve over noodle

7: Bacon Cheese Soup Ingredients 4 slices of bacon 1/2 tablespoon butter 1/4 cup shredded carrots 1/4 cup chopped onion 1 tablespoon flour 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard powder 1/2 teaspoon white wine 1/2 can evaporated milk 1/2 cups milk 1 cup shredded cheese 1. In a large sauce pan, cook bacon until crisp over medium heat turning frequently remove paper towels to drain crumble and set aside 2. Remove all drippings from sauce pan add butter to sauce pan along with carrots and onion cook over medium heart for 2-4 minutes until crisp tender stirring frequently 3. Add flour mustard salt pepper and Worcestershire sauce cook until bubbly about 2-3 minutes 4. Add both kinds of milk and cook until soup has thickened a bit about ten minutes stir in cheese until melted stir in crumbled bacon and serve.

8: New England Clam Chowder Ingredients 2 slices bacon diced 3/4C chopped onion 3/4C water 2C cubed & peeled potatoes 3/4tsp salt ground black pepper to taste 1-1/2C half & half 1Tbsp & 1-1/2tsp butter 1 (10 oz) can minced clams 1. Place diced bacon in large stock pot over medium-high heat, cook until almost crisp 2. stir in water and potatoes and season with salt and pepper, bring to boil and cook uncovered for 15mins or until potatoes are tender 3. Pour in half and half and butter, drain clams and reserve liquid, add claims and half of liquid to soup and cook for 5mins

9: Quick and Easy Eggs Benedict Ingredients 4 slices Canadian bacon 1 teaspoon vinegar 4 eggs 1 cup butter 3 egg yolks 1 tablespoon heavy cream 1 dash ground cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon lemon juice 4 English muffins 1. In a skillet over medium high heat fry the Canadian bacon on each side until evenly browned 2. fill a large saucepan with about 3 inches water and bring to a simmer pour in the vinegar carefully break the 4 eggs into the water and cook 2 to 3 minutes until whites are set but yolks are still soft remove eggs with a slotted spoon 3. meanwhile melt better until bubbly in a small pan remove from heat before butter browns, in a blender or a large food processor blend the egg yolks heavy cream, cayenne pepper, salt, half of the hot butter in a thin steady stream, and blend in the lemon juice 4. place open English muffins onto serving plates top with 1 slice bacon and 1 poached egg drizzle with cream and serve

10: Strip steak with pepper cream sauce Serves 4 Ingredients 4 strip steaks kosher salt 2 teaspoons black peppercorns coarsely crushed 2 tablespoons clarified unsalted butter 3/4 cup beef stock or broth 3/4 cup heavy cream 1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees, sprinkle steaks with kosher salt and crushed black pepper heat butter in a sauté pan over medium heat 2. Add steaks and cook until browned on both sides about 2 minutes per side for medium rare and 3 minutes per side for medium remove steaks from pan and place on a rack set on a sheet pan place in oven to keep warm 3. Add the stock to the sauté pan and whisk until the crispy bits release from bottom of pan allow the liquid to reduce for 3 to 4 minutes over medium high heat add heavy cream and to the pan increase heat to high and cook whisking continually until sauce thickens slightly just enough to coat the back of the spoon this will take 5-7 minutes 4. Season the sauce to taste with kosher salt place steaks on plates top with sauce and serve.

11: Fresh Tomato and Black Bean salsa Serves 6 - 8 Ingredients 4C chopped tomatoes 2C dried black beans, cooked in salt water until tender 1C small diced red onions 1 large fresh jalapeño, seed and cut into small dice 1/2C loosely packed chopped fresh cilantro leaves 1Tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves 1Tbsp chopped garlic 6Tbsp fresh lime juice 1Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil Tortilla chips 1. Combine the first seven ingredients in a mix bowl, season with salt and pepper 2. Add the lime and olive oil, mix well 3. Serve with chips

12: Easy Stir-Fry Chicken & Broccoli Ingredients 1lb. Chicken Breast strips 2tbsp oil 4C veggies (broccoli, red & green pepper strips, sliced water chestnuts) 1C chicken broth 3tbsp. soy sauce 3tbsp. cornstarch 2 tsp. brown sugar 1 1/2C rice 1. Stir fry chicken in hot oil in large skillet until brown 2. Add vegetables; stir until done 3. Mix broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sugar in small bowl; add to skillet 4. Boil for 2 minutes 5. Prepare rice 6. Serve chicken mixture over hot rice

13: Fortune Cookies Ingredients 2 egg whites 1/2tsp vanilla 1/2tsp almond extract 3tbsp vegetable oil 1/2C flour sifted 1 1/2tsp cornstarch 1/2C sugar 2tsp water 1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees 2. Mix with electric blender egg, vanilla, almond and oil together until frothy 3. Add flour, starch, sugar and water to egg mixture 4. Mix until a smooth batter is formed 5. Put 1 Tbs batter on greased cookie sheet 6. Bake 7 to 10 mins or until lightly brown 7. Remove from oven and put fortune in middle of cookie and fold in half. DO THIS WHILE WARM. Bend in the middle with a cup edge and put in muffin tin to cool.

14: Fresh Apple Cake With Hot Carmel Sauce Ingredients 2C Flour 1 1/4C sugar 1/2tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder 1C milk 1 egg 2Tbsp oil 1tsp vanilla 2 diced apples 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees 2 Mix dry ingredients into medium bowl and mix wet ingredients into a large bowl 3 Combine wet and dry ingredients together, and stir in apples 4 grease and flour a 9 by 9 pan and add batter 5 Bake for 40 to 50 minutes

15: Café Riverside Peanut Butter Cookies Ingredients 1C butter 1 1/4C peanut butter 1C sugar 1C brown sugar 2 eggs 2 3/4 flour 1tsp baking powder 1/2tsp salt 1 1/2tsp baking soda 1. cream butter, peanut butter and sugars together, beat in eggs 2. In separate bowl, sift together flour, soda, salt and powder stir into batter, put batter into the fridge for 1 hour 3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 4. Roll into 1inch balls and put on ungreased pan 5. flatten with fork 6. Bake for 9-10 mins

16: Low Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients 1/4C butter, softened 1/2C sugar 1/4C brown sugar 1 egg white 1tsp vanilla extract 1C all-purpose flour 1/2tsp baking soda 1/4tsp salt 1/4C cocoa powder 1/3C mini chocolate chips 1..Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars together with an electric mixer until creamy. Add egg white and vanilla and mix until well blended. 2.In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. 3.Gradually add flour mixture to egg and sugar. Use a wooden spoon to work the dough together. Don’t worry if the dough seems a little crumbly at first. Stir in chocolate chips. 4.Drop cookie dough onto the teaspoonful onto a cookie sheet that can be lined

17: Monster Cookies Ingredients IC brown sugar 1/4C sugar 1/2 stick butter 1 egg 1/2tsp vanilla 1tsp baking soda 3/4C peanut butter 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Beat butter and both sugars in a large bowl with electric mixer 3. Add egg, vanilla, and baking soda and mix with large spoon. 4. Mix in oatmeal, peanut butter, chocolate chips and m&m's 5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes

18: Baked Apple Pancake Ingredients 3 large granny smith apples, peeled cored and cut into 8 wedges 1/2C milk 1 egg 2tbsp oil 1/2tsp vanilla 1C flour 5tbsp powdered sugar 3/4tsp baking powder 1/4tsp salt 3tbsp butter 1/4tsp cinnamon 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees 2. In medium bowl, beat milk, egg, oil and vanilla. Stir in flour, 3tbsp sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir 3. In a skillet melt butter, add apples 2tbsp sugar and cinnamon. Cook for about 5 to 7min or until apples are cooked 4. Put apples evenly in skillet and place bater over top 5. cook for about 13 to 15 minutes 6. eat with sugar or syrup if wanted

19: Apple Crisp Ingredients 4C medium tart cooking apples sliced 3/4C brown sugar 1/2C flour 1/2C old fashion oats 1/3C butter softened tsp cinnamon 3/4tsp nutmeg 8in square pan Ice-cream 1.Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease pan with shortening 2.Spread apples in the pan. In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients except ice-cream until well mixed; sprinkle over apples 3.Bake about 30 min or until top is golden and apples are tender 4.Serve warm with ice-cream

20: Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies Ingredients 1/2C soften butter 1/2C sugar 1/2C packed brown sugar 1 egg 1tsp vanilla 1C & 2Tbsp flour 1/2tsp baking soda 1/4C & 2Tbsp coca powder 24 rolos 1. Beat butter until creamy, then beat in sugars, then beat in egg and vanilla, then combine dry ingredients. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 2. Chill for 2 hours 3. Divide dough into 4 parts, and each part into 6 pieces 4. Put a rolo in the piece of dough and cover completely, dip with extra sugar 5. Bake for 8mins and 2inches apart on baking sheet, let cool

21: Poached Pears Ingredients 2C orange juice 1/2C sugar 1/2tsp ground cinnamon 2 Pears whipped cream or vanilla ice-cream 1. In a skillet combine juice sugar and cinnamon 2. Heat over medium heat stirring until sugar dissolves, peel pears cut in half, add pears, cover and simmer for around 15 to 20 mins 3. remove pears using a slotted spoon, cool and serve with whipped cream or ice-cream

22: Banana Fritters Ingredients 1 egg, beaten 8 oz. milk 2 oz. unsalted butter, melted 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 Tbs finely grated orange zest 2 oz. orange juice 1 banana, large 12 oz. pastry flour, sifted 4 oz. granulated sugar 1 Tb baking powder 1/2 tsp salt powered sugar as needed 1.Whisk together the egg, milk, butter, and vanilla. Add the orange zest and orange juice. 2. Peel and dice the banana, and add to the egg mixture 3. Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Gently stir in the banana-egg mixture to form a thick batter. 4. Heat deep-fryer oil to 350. Fry 1 tablespoon portions of the batter until the fritters are brown and crispy, about 5 minutes 5. Drain on paper towels, dust with confectioners' sugar, and serve hot

Grease and flour the bundt pan 2. preheat oven to 350 3. Sprinkle flour over blueberries in small bowl 4. Combine dry cake mix and sour cream in separate large bowl 5. Add eggs, one at a time, beating at low speed 6. Beat at medium speed until smooth 7. fold in blueberries 8. bake for 45mins 9. cool on rack for 15mins and remove from pan

25: Shrimp and Corn Chowder with Fennel Serves 4 Ingredients 2 Tbs of unsalted butter 2 leeks 1 fennel bulb chopped salt and pepper 2 Tbs flour 8 oz clam juice 3 cups whole milk 1 pd potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2in pieces 3/4 pd cooked, peeled and deveined medium shrimp 10 oz frozen corn 2 Tbs chopped fresh parsley 1. Heat the butter in a large sauce pan over medium heat 2. add the leeks and fennel, season with salt and pepper 3. cook stirring occasionally, until the veggies are tender, 4 to 5min 4. stir in flour 5. add the clam juice, milk, and potatoes, bring to a boil 6. reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 12mins 7. stir in shrimp and corn, cook until potatoes are tender, 3 to 5min 8. stir in parsley and lemon juice

26: What you'll need FOR 8 SERVINGS: 1/2 cup small tapioca pearls (found in the baking aisle of most grocery stores) Food coloring 4 tablespoons sugar 8 gummy fish Seltzer water Lemonade 8 gummy worms How to make it MAKE THE EGGS: Bring 6 cups of water to a boil and add the tapioca pearls. Reduce the heat slightly and boil the pearls, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes. COLOR THE EGGS: Divide the pearls, with the remaining water, between two bowls. Add 4 drops of food coloring (we used 3 drops of yellow and 1 drop of green in one bowl, and 4 drops of blue in the other) and 2 tablespoons of sugar to each bowl. Stir the mixtures, then allow them to sit uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes. Drain and rinse the pearls with cold water. ASSEMBLE THE DRINK: Spoon 2 tablespoons of pearls into each glass and drop in a gummy fish. Fill the glasses with seltzer water, then add a splash of lemonade. Place a gummy worm around a spoon as shown.

Add wings, and eyes Dirt Cookies 1/2 cup of dried fruit, chow mein noodles, crushed cereal, powered milk, crushed graham crackers, peanut butter and m&m's Instructions 1. mix all ingredients together, adding more peanut butter if necessary Pumpkin Pudding 1 package instant vanilla pudding 12oz. evaporated milk 15oz. plain pumpkin 1/2 pumpkin pie spice 1. Mix pudding and milk for 2mins. Chill for 5min. Mix in pumpkin and spice.
