1: January On December 31st, Jody and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary in Shreveport, LA. We had a great time strolling through the riverwalk, going to the movies, and eating at Joe's Crab Shack.
2: We celebrated Shane's 4th birthday at Stanley's Store. Anybody who was there or showed up celebrated with us! | Shane & MiMi Deaneth Stanley share the same birthday

4: February Celebrating birthdays at Gran & Paw Paw's Shane (#4) - January 16th Anna & Avery (#9) - January 26th Elli Kate (#6) - February 10th | Silly Shane at home
5: What a great surprise of snow! The kids had so much fun experiencing it!
6: This year, Savanna & Shane went to the Horse Fair in Duncan, OK with Jody, Amy, & Mr. Miller. On Saturday they went to the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center which was a really neat and kid friendly place to visit. | Future business man | Lew showed up to visit
7: Savanna's Valentine school party in Mrs. Bolin's class. Shane was able to participate too.
8: Basketball Savanna went to basketball camp and then we went to watch Ashlyn play basketball in the McKinney Upwards program.
9: Jump Rope for Heart | Hay | Hayden showed & sold his pig at the NETLA Show
10: March During Spring Break, we went on a perfect picnic and really had a great time together. From the weather to the bon fire that night, everything was perfect... something we won't ever forget.
11: Big Grannie got tickets to the Neal McCoy concert in Sulphur Springs and Big Grannie, MiMi, Aunt De, Rody, Savanna, Shane, Jody, and Amy all went. Neal McCoy puts on a great show!
12: Easter for Savanna at school First Grade - Mrs. Bolin | The Easter Bunny visited our house & then we celebrated Easter at Gran & Paw Paw's | April
14: Aunt Penni cut Savanna's hair while we were at Gran & Paw Paw's and then we went to Big Grannie's to hunt eggs with Rody & BreAnna.

16: MAY | Celebrated Savanna's birthday with Mrs. Bolin's class before school was out. | Savanna & Shane are growin up way too fast.
17: Visiting Big Grannie Martha Hare & Grandma Helen Stanley on Mother's Day
18: Shane's first year of T-ball. He played so well & had a great season! | BreAnna played too!
19: We celebrated Paw Paw Joe Anderson's Birthday. May 11th | And watched Elli Kate play some soccer.
20: AWANAS Award Ceremony Shane was a Cubbie & Savanna was a Spark | The Sparks celebrated the end of AWANAS for the year by going skating. It was Savanna's first time to skate and she had a great time learning.
21: Shane received 8 stitches after tripping and hitting the bumper of a cargo trailer while helping Jody. This was a very nerve racking experience. Jody and Sherry had to go in with Shane because Amy couldn't handle watching Shane get stitches for the first time.
22: Fun in the tub! BreAnna & Savanna | Mt. Vernon had a carnival and street dance up on the square. The kids had a blast!

27: JULY | July | We traveled to Oklahoma City to set up a booth for "Battle in the Saddle". While we were there, we met up with Uncle Richard & Aunt Debbie to watch fireworks.
28: Before coming home from Oklahoma, we stopped and had some fun playing miniature golf with the kids. | Celebrating Aunt Debbie's Birthday at Mom & Dad Anderson's house while they were in for the Anderson Family Reunion
29: Jody and Amy traveled to a customer of Sulphur River Saddlery in Brighton, Colorado. This customer has an annual tent saddle sale every year in July and they like the saddle maker to be there to represent their saddles. We stayed with our sales rep & his wife - Gerald & Phylis Adame. The girls had a great time shopping and hanging out while the guys sold saddles.
30: Since we were in Colorado, we had to take advantage and go do some beautiful sight seeing. We also traveled on up to Wyoming to see the famous Cheyenne Frontier Days & Rodeo.
32: AUGUST | Since an extended family vacation wasn't planned for this summer, we took a mini vacation to Dallas. We spent one day at the Dallas World Aquarium and the other day at Six Flags. It was HOT, but we had a great time!

39: Shane had a different kind of mole growing on his neck and we took him to have it removed. Amy did NOT like hearing him scream and cry as this was done by the doctor. | Savanna took her friend, Alexi Watson, to the American Girl doll store to celebrate her 8th birthday. They had a great time there. We later met up with the rest of the family at the Magic Time Machine restaurant to celebrate Savanna & cousin Ashlyn's birthdays.
41: Back to School This year Savanna was in 2nd grade with Mrs. Duenkel as a teacher. Shane was in Pre-K with Mrs. Bass as his teacher.
42: September | This month was full of birthday celebrations! Sherry turned forty and boy did we surprise her. She had no clue of our celebration plans. | Happy Birthday to Amberly too!
43: We celebrated Jody's birthday at breakfast with a candle in his oatmeal creme pie and a song with homemade birthday cards. | Big Grannie Martha Hare's birthday was celebrated with the family at Mi Casitas in Mount Vernon.
44: We met up with all the family to celebrate Gran Pat Anderson 's birthday in Greenville at Yen Jings. | In getting ready for our annual farm equipment auction, a consignor brought a motorcycle to sell. Gene gave the kids a ride on it around the house.
45: OCTOBER Savanna went to cheer camp and then performed before a Mt. Vernon game. | In McKinney, we watched Anna & Avery play soccer. | Hayden was a Trojan and played football in the Cumby league.
46: We met up with the Voss family and went to the Texas State Fair | howdy yall!
48: Shane had a great time playing soccer! Jeff & Amy Briscoe were wonderful coaches and their team was called the Wildcats.
49: Our annual jac-o-lantern contest! Amy & Shane won this year. :)
50: For Halloween this year Shane was a bull rider and his costume was a hit on the square - we got a lot of comments and looks. Savanna was so beautiful as a 1930s flapper dancer. | Trick or treating at Grandma Helen's | Savanna's friend Alexi Watson
51: NOVEMBER | In October, because the economy was in a downturn, Amy was let go at A.K. Gillis & Sons after 13 years. Because of this, Amy was able to travel with Jody and help him setup and sell his tack and saddles. This month they went to Amarillo for the Ranch Rodeo Finals. It was a crazy weather weekend. Friday night it stormed and rained; Saturday they woke up to snow everywhere! | They brought back mustaches for Shane.

54: HOLIDAY IN THE PARK | This was the first year for Savanna to sing in the youth choir and they performed songs from the FBC Christmas Musical at Six Flags. We had a wonderful time.
