1: June 28, 2011 You came over to Grammy's house at about 6:30 a.m. Your Daddy and Mommy are driving 80 pair over west so we get to play! While you were here you were saying so many more words than I had put in your last book. Here are a few more words that you can say: cracker, wah wah, (water), clock, PaPa, Plus you can point out most of the animals and other things that are in your Farm Book. For some reason, you really like the spider!
2: It's just a few days before your first birthday and you and your Daddy are reading about how Scooby Doo celebrates his birthday with a party. Your Mommy has a big party planned just for you! | JUNE 2011 | Helping PaPa check the cattle markets! Why does he have such a "death grip" on your little arm?
3: You silly girl....you're playing with the refrigerator magnets. Dumping them all out on the floor, and then having Grammy pick them back up! What Fun!
5: Aubrey......can you say L i i i i i ght | Yes you can! | You don't really say the word LIGHT, but you over exaggerate the L with your tongue. And you're pointing at the light....you know exactly what we're talking about
7: Your Papa had absolutely no experience what so ever at putting a head band on a little girl. But he was giving it his best shot. As you can see you were not being very cooperative. It's a good thing you're pretty cute and don't really need a head band anyway!
8: July 6, 2011 Your Mommy and Daddy planned a birthday party for you. Your dress was from Gr'ma Natalie, and you looked like a little princess in it. You're starting to walk with help. You were the sweetest Birthday Girl, Grammy has ever seen!

36: Grammy got a new Dora outfit for you, and I couldn't wait for you to try it on. We had to put a matching clippy in your hair. You don't like clippies as much as Grammy does, but that's okay. You go along with me, and you get to do a lot of fun things....if you just keep the clippy in your hair!

51: November 2011 We spent the day in town at Clarice's town house. It was such a nice day that we even got to go outside. Uncle Kent rode his horse to town. And some people got to ride around town.
53: We celebrated Christmas at Thanksgiving with Aunt Rennae and her family. Rennae is so creative, she made a HUGE stuffed cow, just for you! When your Daddy was little, she made a stuffed Sylvester the Cat for him. Your Aunt Rennae is Awesome!

55: Early in December 2011, Aubrey and I went to ONeill to see the doctor about the possibility of a new baby arriving. The nurses had to draw blood and go through all the other basics and Aubrey was not loving it. She was scared and worried about why they were poking and prodding her mommy. When Dr. Allison pulled out his laptop, she began screaming KaGa!, because she watches her Dora show on her grandmas computer. I explained to the Dr. that she has always had a special name for Dora. It began as Kaka, and had thankfully developed to KaGa by this point. When we finally left the office, she was clutching her Dora doll in her hands and walking tentatively beside me, still in disbelief that Dr. Allison had not shared his computer for her entertainment. She seemed to be walking slower than normal and was transfixed by a Hispanic woman with her three daughters who were sitting in the waiting room. They were speaking Spanish and smiling warmly at Aubrey, who I was now nearly dragging along the floor as she was walking so slowly. When we walked past the children, she stopped, gently touched the smallest girls cheek and whispered, "KaGa." All of a sudden, she shrilly screamed "KaGa" at the top of her lungs and tackled the little girl. I was apologizing and pulling her away while the mother and girls were laughing and smiling, thankfully. We made it halfway down the hall before she jerked away from my hand, spun around and was back hugging her real live Dora. I picked her up by the waist and hauled her out of the hospital screaming, "KaGa, KaGa," at the top of her lungs. When we got back to the car and I was strapping her into the seat, she became very quiet and with complete awe kept repeating, "Mommy, KaGa!" 56: Tis the Season | Aunt Beth bought this dress for you to wear during the month of December. You looked so darn cute and you got so much good out of it. Aunt Beth is the best shopper ever!

61: We went to church on Christmas Eve, and then came back to our house for a prime rib supper. We opened presents and then your Mommy said, "I think we need to go change Aubrey". I thought they needed to change your diaper, so I went out to the kitchen to clean up a little. I heard you guys come back into the living room, and pretty soon you came out and touched my legs, and I turned around to scoop you up, and I read your shirt.....BIG SISTER! And Grammy said "Oh, my Goodness"! You had been running around in the living room, and no one else had noticed what your Mommy had written on your shirt. Your Mommy said, "I knew Grandma would notice". We are thrilled, and know you will make the best big sister ever!
62: Family Pictures We needed to take family pictures for the Centennial Book. It was so nice out on Christmas Day 2011 that we were outside without coats on. Not many days in December....in Nebraska.....that you can do that!

Since it was Mother's Day, and Rennae and Kayla were still here we went out to eat at the Range Cafe. Then we went over to Grandma Clarice's town house and you spent the day entertaining all of us. We had lemonade and Coke floats. It was a good day!

106: The New Sandbox Grammy decided to turn one of her flowerbeds into a sandbox for you. Cameron and Payton shoveled the dirt out and Papa helped me get the sand. It was a little bit of a struggle, because Papa wanted to just pull the tractor over my lawn and dump the dirt in......I didn't like that idea so much! 109: Your Mommy and Daddy were in a play to help the Q125 committee raise money for next year's celebration. You got to stay with Grammy a few nights when they practiced at Rose. 116: Carney Park in O'Neill, NE Your Daddy and Mommy were getting a new mattress from Nebraska Furniture Mart and they were going to deliver it to Pamida in O'Neill. Aunt Beth and I were meeting up in O'Neill for the day, so we all ended up in the same place that day. Your Mommy also had a Dr's appointment, so you came with me and Aunt Beth. We went to the park and played on the merry-go-round, the monkey bars, the slide, played in the sandbox, and threw a frisbee. We also checked out the train car that sets in the park. Then we met your parents at Dairy Queen and had ice cream!
