FC: The Slave Trade!

1: The Slave Trade started in the mid-fifteenth century. It began after the Portuguese interest in Africa moved from the fabled deposits of gold. which was a more available commodity .

2: The expanding European empires. It was a work force. the Europeans were unsuited to the Climate and suffered. But the Africans were great workers! A lot of people had experience so they knew what they were doing. So they did work very hard!

3: Triangle Trade! | The triangle trade has three stages. 1st. was manufactured goods from Europe to Africa. Including Cloth, Tobacco, beads, and so much more! These gods were traded for African slaves. | The second stage ( The middle passage) involved shipping the slaves to America. | The third passage involved the return to Europe with all the produce and all the goods!

4: The transport of slaves from Africa to the Americas forms the middle passage of the triangular trade. Several distinct regions can be identified along the west African coast. the peoples who were enslaved, and the dominant African society or society's who provided the slaves.
