35: Reconstruction | Sharecropping was when a land owner gave land to another farmer so they can plant crops but they have to give the land owner half the money they earn. Freedman's Bureau was a society that helped Africans and poor Virginians get food and medical care.

36: After Reconstruction | Segregation,discrimination,and Jim Crow Laws were how the blacks were treated.

37: Virginia's economy begins to grow again | Railroads,were the key to expansion. Tazewell (coal) and tobacco farming as well.

38: Civil rights movement | Thomas Woodrow Wilson,George C.Marshall were very famous people in the civil rights movement.
