1: RAP CAMP | Resources and People (RAP) Camp was designed to educate students about natural resource management by providing them an opportunity to take part in hands-on natural resource sessions, outdoor recreation activities and educational field trips. | RAP Camp has been providing exciting summer fun for students since 1992!
2: Lake of the Woods
3: This week-long camp is held the third week in June at Camp Esther Applegate at Lake of the Woods in South Central Oregon. Each year, sixty plus students, ages 13-18, from both urban and rural areas have the opportunity to interact with each other and engage in outdoor pursuits.
5: Students attending the camp will have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and make new friends, while participating in hands-on natural resource activities.

12: The camp allows kids to learn more about resources like fire ecology, wildlife, forestry, fisheries, archeology, wetlands and botany and possible careers in those fields. It also engages students in many outdoor activities like hiking, birding, swimming and canoeing.
16: Cowboy poetry at a local ranch, a field trip to Crater Lake National Park, tour of a fish hatchery, and astronomy talk and tribal storytelling while sitting around the campfire are all part of the week’s experience.

27: A HUNDRED YEARS FROM NOW A hundred years from now no one will remember how much money I had in the bank, what kind of car I drove or what kind of job I had. But I will be remembered as someone special because I made a difference in the life of a child!!!
