FC: Chelsey's Gladiola's

1: My Hypothesis: I predict that plants in artificial light and sunlight will grow faster and bigger than the plants that get natural light only.

2: What is the 1 variable that I will change during this experiment? The one variable that will change is the type of light. This is the first picture of my plant.

5: What are the variables that will remain constant during this experiment? The variables that will change are the amount of water. We will have the same type of container. We will put the same amount of soil. We will have the same type of soil. the length of exipment will be the same. We will have the same temperature. We will have the same fertilizer. We will have the same type of water. The plants will be planted the same depth.

6: The scatter graph is not a good graph it does not help you with your measurement very well it lets you hardly prove how good your measurement is and how fast it has grown in the days so I would say that the scatter graph is not good to use in this case.

9: The column graph shows the numbers of the growth and grows. In the same way it helps you like the line graph it is a good graph for the showing of the rate of growth and the measurement as fast the plant grows in the days.

10: The Surface Graph is a good graph it shows you the average rate very well in the graph and the measurement it tells you the same thing as if the other ones but I think that this one is a better one then the line graph it shows some more stuff clearly.

13: How will I collect and record the data from this experiment? By taking photos one time during a week and watering two times a week. We will measure the plant growth twice a week.

17: After the experiment is completed and the data has been analyzed, write a conclusion that answers the following questions. 1. Did the data reveal a difference in plant growth between the plants grown in natural light and those grown in artificial light? Yes it did because those in natural and artificial sunlight they grow thicker but slower but you want a thick plant because it will stay standing unlike the ones that just had natural light they grow thicker but thinner and when they got tall they bent. 2.Did the data support my hypothesis? No I said that the artificial one would grow faster and bigger it grow slower but thicker. 3.If I were to repeat this experiment, what could I do to improve the process? I would have put it in a good size pot. We could of left the lights on .We should have put one outside and kept one inside. I would have kept it in artificial sunlight.
