At birth, I was given the name Aaron by my parents. There are many meanings to this name and history takes it back to the 9th century. The name Aaron is a masculine Hebrew name. It could be derived from various Hebrew roots meaning "high mountain", "mountain of strength" or "enlightened". It also means to have leadership and organization skills as well as being wise The name Aaron was also the most popular name in the U.S in 1994 and was ranked was ranked the 28th most popular name. This name is ranked very high out of all the names today and proves to be very popular. My parents chose to give me the name Aaron simply because they liked the name. They had looked it up in a baby book of names and they liked the meanings behind the name nad hoped one day I would live up to them. Another reason why my name turned out to be Aaron is because my name was used in the Bible. Having a very riligous background, my mom knew this would be a good boy name for me. They had other possible names picked out for me but they focused mainly on Aaron. If I were to have been a girl at birth, my name would have been Amber Michelle. Lets just say im glad I was a boy when I was born. My name has many meanings behind it that describe my personality and my personal characteristics. This name encourages the expression of leadership, organizational skills and wisdom. It also means I’m very particular about my material possessions, I keep everything I own in a good state of repair, and I budget my personal finances very carefully. It also means I am mathematically adept and have great patience with work of a detailed nature such as bookkeeping, accounting, or technical research. I feel this describes me very well as I am very particular about my things and I’m always trying to work hard to make myself a better person and to do good in life. | Aaron James Rea

i | As a little kid, I always knew what I wanted to do for my career later in life. I have always enjoyed working and learning with all types of cars. I decided to turn my passion for automobiles into a career of mine for the future. It was now time for some hard work researching many different colleges that offered training for my career choice. Every night after school, I would sit at home on the computer trying to find a school that would fit me best. Researching many schools for my career choice turned out to be a success and I knew I now had to make as decision. I chose the best option for me which ended up being The University of Northwestern Ohio. Now that I had picked out my college, I had to break the news to my parents. I knew they would be happy with the school I picked and they would also be very supportive behind me. After coming home from school one day, I gave my mom a brochure from the school that I had gotten from a friend. She looked at it and said “This school looks awesome! I will set up a tour date for us to go see it”. From this point on I started to get more and more excited and I couldn’t wait to go see my future college for the first time. The anticipation for my tour day rose greatly as I waited and waited. I was a little nervous to see the school because I was scared it wouldn’t be what I really wanted in my college. It was an early Saturday morning and I was finally on my way there. Two of my friends, Jerrod and Keith, as well as their parents were also going to the same tour that day and I planned to meet them there. After about an hour and a half hours of driving with my parents we finally reached the school. The University looked huge and I couldn’t wait to get inside. We took a bus over to the many different mechanic buildings so we could look around. Each place looked awesome and made me even more excited to start school to pursue my career. I knew instantly I was going to have a lot of fun at the University of Northwestern Ohio | Getting Accepted to College

 A Special Place Of Mine
There is a special place of mine that I go every year with my family. During the beginning of September, a huge event goes on in Bowling Green, Ohio. This event is the National Truck and Tractor Pulling Championships. This is a time for great fun watching tractors pull huge weighted sleds down a track. We take our camper there and stay in it for the weekend. It may not sound like much, but spending a weekend with my family and watching something that I really enjoy watching all adds up for a great time. All summer long, I get more and more excited to go to Bowling Green for the tractor pulling championships. I really start to get excited when my dad starts to buy the tickets for the weekend. A couple of days before that special weekend, my dad, my three brothers, and me start to prepare for the trip. We get our camper all prepared for the trip and do any kind of shopping for food. Then, once everything is ready, we leave the house on Thursday night. It takes about two hours to get there and we have a lot of fun on the way. Once we arrive at the Tractor Pulling event, you can see hundreds of campers and tons of people in the campgrounds. This is where all the parties happen and everyone gets a little crazy at nights after the tractor pulls are over. After we get our camper situated for the weekend, we always go to the pits and check out all of the trucks and tractors. It’s awesome to see all of the equipment and engines that the guys use to pull the huge sleds down the track. Now it is time to wait until Friday evening. This is when my special place of mine becomes alive. Once the tractor pulling starts, we are in heaven. You can sit for one day and see hundreds of trucks and tractors go down the track in two different lanes. The crowds are huge and there is ever hardly a seat left empty. Spending time with my family is very important to me and doing it at the Bowling Green Tractor Pulls makes it even more fun. I am already looking forward to next year.
There is a time of day where I get to spend time with my friends. During this time, many memories are made and our friendship becomes stronger. This time of day is my lunch period at school. At my lunch, there is one table that is specifically reserved for us. Nobody is allowed to sit there but us. Jacob Boyd, Canyon Meddles, Keith Showalter, Jerrod Retterer, and Shawn Phoneyvong all make up this table. I have had lots of fun times with my friends during lunch throughout my high school career. This year has by far been one of the best years. You just never know what’s going to happen each day. | Canyon | My Lunch Period | Jacob | Jerrod | Keith and Shawn
I sit beside Jacob and Jerrod at one end of the table at lunch. Jacob is a very wise and competitive person. He definitely does not like to lose in anything that he does. Whenever we play little games to determine who is going to take up all of the lunch trays and trash from lunch, Jacob will do whatever he can to make sure he doesn’t lose. Usually we play “Rock, Paper, and Scissors” and the loser between us six people takes them up. Jacob would cheat so much and he hardly ever took up trays. This left us with no other choice but to volunteer Jerrod to take them all up for us. Keith was the same way. He would just stay quiet and be sneaky about taking up trays. Somehow, if he lost the game, he would never take up the trays no matter what. Jerrod is the most outspoken person at our table. He can be loud at times but he is usually why our table has so much fun. Jerrod is known for taking good stories and turning them into long, drawn out stories. We always criticize him for it and when he tells his stories, we always get a good laugh. He’s also the kid everyone likes to pick on and beat up. Ever since freshman year, Keith had made plans to beat Jerrod up on the last day of school of our senior year. Usually we talk about this at lunch and we try to toughen Jerrod up so he can actually fight back. No matter what, Jerrod always gives us a good laugh. Sitting on the other side of the table across from Jacob, sits Keith. Keith is a very quite person and he doesn’t really talk much. He can be smart at times and he will always tell you how it is no matter how bad it will make you feel. We like to think of him as Jacobs “partner in crime” because he always teams up with Jacob in games. That’s what I really like about him. It’s so funny when he makes fun of people because you would never think that Keith would ever say such a thing. Having Keith in our lunch makes things so much better because he sparks up conversations about people that are just so funny. Sitting next to Keith and across from me is Canyon. Canyon has a different personality. He is not the smartest person in the world but he always gives us a good laugh. He likes to pick on everyone at the table and joke around to a point that’s so funny. He has a personality that by just looking at him, you will laugh. He will always try to make fun of people at our table, but in an instant it is always turned around on him and he is soon the one being made fun of. Having Canyon in our lunch is awesome because he gives us so many laughs and he is a pretty cool kid.

High School At North Union | Shortly before turning fourteen years old, I started High School. Going to high school has been a long road with many challenges on the way. This was also a time where I made many of my great memories that I shared with my friends. Along the way, I played many sports and participated in extracurricular activities. High school really helped me greatly and taught me many things about my life. My high school career at North Union started out my freshman year. Like most kids, I was a little nervous about entering a whole new school with a lot of upper-classmen. While in middle school, I heard so many bad things about high school and how I wouldn’t survive the elements. I found this not to be true at all. My freshman year was a little hard for me. The classes were a little tough and some of them I struggled in. Either way, I passed the classes with no problem. At this time I was also making many new friends and learning who all the teachers were. I also played football and I ran track. My freshman year in high school turned out to be a big learning experience for me to the years ahead. My softmore and junior years in high school were a little boring to me. Being a softmore was a challenge to me because the work was hard. This was by far my toughest year. There were some teachers who didn’t teach the way I was used to being taught; therefore it made it hard for me to learn. The school was also being remodeled at the time so I was also uncomfortable and it made it hard to pay attention. I also played golf during these two years. I love golf and it helped me relax each day after school. My junior year was a fun year. The classes that I took were easy and It was just fun to be at school. During this year, I always hung out with my friends after school and it made me a little less stressful. Each day, I enjoyed being at school to see all of my friends. Knowing that my days were going to be easy in school, I looked forward to going and I didn’t have a problem with it. It was also nice being an upper-classmen.
Now it’s my final year at North Union. I have come a long way, along with my entire class. My senior year is awesome, to say the least. This is the easiest year I have ever had in school. My classes are simple and pretty much impossible to get a bad grade in. A lot of things are also scheduled for me during this year. The biggest thing so far is graduation. After twelve years of schooling, I can finally say I’m just about done and it’s time for me to enter the real world. My friends are a big part of my senior year. I actually love coming to school now because you never know what’s going to happen that day. They have made this long school journey fun and very interesting. We have made many memories that I will never forget. They helped me get through each year and basically made my days go by faster. Even though they have gave me some hard times, that’s just payback for what I gave to them. I will miss them all after school. I may I hate school and can’t wait to graduate, but It’s safe to say that I will really miss school all together because this is where all of my favorite memories were made. | "We are who we choose to be"
 A Good Memory
One of my favorite high school memories took place in our schools parking lot. It was late in the night and our golf team just got back from a tournament that we competed in. We all gathered our golf clubs off of the bus and put them in our vehicles. We talked a little bit about the tournament we had just played in that right before we left. I hopped in my truck, started it up, then I started to leave. I felt my truck come to a sudden stop and I heard a loud noise. I looked in my mirror and I seen colton's car lifted off of the ground and I soon realized what I just did. I had pulled out of my parking space and ran right onto the side of colton's car with the side of my truck. We stepped out of our vehicles, made an awkward eye contact, and I knew he was upset. I was also upset but I felt bad because it was my fault. We assessed the damage and we both had a lot done to our vehicles. I apologized to him and we soon thought it was funny. I still to this day get made fun of for it but it always reminds me of how funny it really was. The End
