1: Long ago,In the 17th Century of America. Lived many people we call today, Native Americans.

2: The Native Americans lived very happily in America.

3: Every Native American Tribe had a different culture and Tradition.

4: On the other side of the world. Lived the Puritans in England. | England

5: The Puritans were people that had only one belief. And That was to do the will of God.

6: The Puritans moved to America in the 17th Century. Where they hoped to find a nice place to live.

7: When the Puritans got to America they were surprised to see people already there! They thought America was a place with no one living there!

8: The Native Americans saw the Puritans and some ran away from them, but some attempted to make a peaceful relationship with them.

9: The Puritans saw The Native Americans and thought that they were part of God's "Lost Tribes of Israel" and they needed to be rescued and converted to God.

10: Although The Native Americans and The Puritans spoke different languages. They communicated through sign language, which both parties understood.

11: As time passed however, The Puritans slowly started to dislike the Native Americans.

12: Why did they start disliking The Native Americans you may ask?

13: Well the Puritans believed that there is only One God. When they found out The Native Americans believed in a few different Gods and not their own, The Puritans decided to call them "Indians" which a very offensive word to call the Native Americans.

14: Because of this dislike towards the Native Americans, The Puritans decided to never make any relations to the Native Americans.

15: This changed how the world is today. Because of this dislike is one of the many reasons why there isn't as many Native Americans here today then there were in the 17th Century.
