2: "Let's be realistic, demand the impossible!" | Ernesto Guevara de la Serna was born on June 14, 1928 in the city of Rosario, Argentina. | Childhood

3: His parents were Ernesto Guevara Lynch and Celia de la Serna y Llosa. | Because of his asthma Ernesto did not start school at the established age. For some time, he was taught by his mother at home. | The Guevara family continued to grow with the birth of Roberto (May 18th, 1931) and Ana Maria (January 28th, 1934).

4: "Knowledge makes us accountable." | Adolescence

5: After his grandmother’s death, he decided to quit studying engineering and go into the field of medicine. | In 1941, Ernesto enrolled in the “Dean Funes” School in Cordoba. | His family decided to move to the latter where he met Tomas, Alberto and Gregorio Granado and Gustavo Roca. | In 1947, Ernesto enrolled in the School of Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires.

6: "Better to die standing, than to live on your knees.”

7: Began his journey traveling through several countries in Latin America with his friend Alberto Granado. | Adulthood | They covered a distance of 9000 kilometers. | During the long trip, they visited the leper communities of Huambo and San Pablo. | After returning to Argentina, he rewrites his travel notes in vivid detail about their experiences.

9: "It's a sad thing not to have friends, but it is even sadder not to have enemies.” | Became a worldwide icon for revolution. | Was captured and later executed on October 9, 1967 at the age of 39.
