S: Hippie Trip, July 2011
FC: Hippie TriP - July, 2011
1: On July 1, 2011, Curtis and I set out on our first Hippie Road Trip. We spent three days exploring north western Pennsylvania. We spent our first night at the Penn Wells Hotel in Wellsboro, PA. On SAturday we explored the many areas of the Allegheny National Forest and spent a night camping at the Tracy Ridge Camp Ground. We set up the tent and Curtis built a fire. It was very quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed after a long week at work. We made smores and Played word games. On Sunday, we drove to Presque Isle in Erie. We went to visit a light house in the Ghetto area of Erie. It was a nice light house but the area was a little stressing. We couldn't find a camp site on Sunday night so we spent the night at a comfort inn. Monday we drove to Punxsutawney for the groundhog festival. The town was much bigger than we expected. We went to Gobbler's Knob to see where Phil predicts when Spring will arrive. We even got to see Phil in his home at the library. Our first Hippie Road trip was awesome. I can't wait for the next one.
