A clear mission propelled the land-grant college: to open the doors of higher education to all of North Carolina, and to transform the state by developing and dispersing an understanding of agricultural and mechanical sciences. And NC State still moves forward today. With more than 34,000 students and nearly 8,000 faculty and staff, | About | 91% Returning for sophomore year18:1 Student-faculty ratio

International students in F-1 or J-1 status are required to maintain full-time enrollment throughout their program, uphold good academic standing and make normal academic progress toward their degree objective. Full-time enrollment at NC State University is normally defined as 12 or more credit hours for undergraduate students and a minimum of 9 hours per semester for graduate students. One (3 credit) on-line or distance education course may be used each semester to help satisfy full-time enrollment requirements. Students who will take only one course in a semester are not permitted to take that course through on-line or distance education. Please note: Requirements for full-time enrollment may vary each semester based on remaining program requirements, pending completion of the academic program, and/or thesis research.

Our first New Years together was one I'll never forget. Christian surprised me with a trip to New York so we could watch the ball drop in Time Square. WOW what an experience! I have never seen so many people in one place cheering together as the count down began. It was so much fun!

New Years Eve | ........................................... | 12. 31. 2010 | When we arrived in New York we first went ice skating at the famous ice rink in Rockefeller Center. Then we went to a Broadway show, and ate at Per Se, It was fabulous!

Christian surprised my for our 1 year anniversary by taking me to the place we first met, The Four Season's in Santa Barbara. We had a lovely time reliving our first moments together and enjoyed all of the delicious food the city has to offer. This place will always have a special place in our hearts.

Kauai, HI | ................................ | 1. 1 8. 2 0 1 1 | We were pretty lucky with the weather on our trip and only had one day of rain the whole time. The next morning after it rained, we counted at least 15 waterfalls that had appeared on the cliffs outside our window. It was so beautiful!

One of the coolest parts of our trip, and something I encourage for anyone who travels to Kauai, was a helicopter tour of the island. We saw parts of the island you can’t see any other way, dipping into canyons, getting up close to waterfalls, flying along sea cliffs of the Na’Pali Coast.

friendship | As a child I would occasionally think to myself that the girl of my life is out there living her life somewhere in the world. Our paths just haven't crossed yet. I think our paths have finally crossed. Jessica is more perfect for me than I would have ever imagined. Life would not be complete without her.

Christian has such an amazing and kind heart. He has never met a stranger and everyone loves him. He truly is my perfect other half. I am so blessed to have him, and will always cherish the time we share. I look forward to a long, happy future together.
