S: European Vacation 2011

BC: Dedicated to my beautiful daughter Jordan who made this trip so special because she brought joy to every experience. I will always remember our great European Adventure as one of the highlights of my life. I Love You Now and Always! Mom

FC: European Vacation Summer 2011

1: We took the British Airways Red Eye from Dulles Airport and we were tired !! | June 30, 2011 | London, England

2: We took the Heathrow Express to Downtown London where we hopped on a double decker bus to Buckingham Palace.

3: We got to Buckingham Palace just in time for the 11:30 am Changing of the Guard.

5: We enjoyed the Thanes River Cruise and saw the London Eye.

6: When Jordan wasn't sleeping she enjoyed seeing all the London sights from the Thanes River, | London Bridge

8: Jordan helping guard the Tower of London. | The Infamous Tower of London where many a Royal lost their Head.

9: June 30, 2011 | Big Ben and other London Sights

10: After a good 12 hours of sleep Jordan and Mom make it to Barcelona and manage to find a Starbucks. Happiness is . . . . | July 1, 2011

12: One of Antoni Gaudi's greatest Architectural Works in Barcelona, Spain. | Sagrada Familia

13: Construction began on Sagrada Familia in 1882. It is expected to be completed in 2030.

15: Pope Benedict consecrates Barcelona's Sagrada Familia in November of 2010

16: Mom and Jordan wear their new Spanish dresses for a night out at the Flamenca Show.

17: Eating in Barcelona was one of our favorite past times. Whether Churros and Chocolate, Paella or Espresso, we loved it.

18: The Magic Fountain of Montjuc was our favorite destination each night. Designed in 1929 for the Great Exhibition, it is an amazing display of water dancing, lights and music. Thousands of people come enjoy the Fountain's nightly performances at 9:30, 10 and 11.

22: Park Guell Barcelona, Spain July 2, 2011

23: Jordan and Mom at Park Guell, another architectural wonder of Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona. | Jordan is meeting up with Gaudi guy, mom's new budy throughout the trip.

25: Jordan in Poble Espanyol or Spanish Village | On our way to our eventing at El Tablao de Carmen for an authentic Flamenca Show.

27: On July 3, 2011 we departed on the Cruise Ship Carnival Magic for a week on the Mediterranean.

29: Monte Carlo Monaco The World's smallest country other than the Vatican City. | On July 4, 2011 we docked in Monte Carlo, Monaco. | What a glorious view to wake up to.

30: Monaco's Prince Albert and Princess Charlene wed in an extravagant religious wedding attended by international celebrities and royalty. | the Wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco

32: God blessed us with amazing timing. We might have missed Prince William's but made it to Prince Albert's, LOL. | Monaco

34: A view from the Palace that overlooks the city. | A Country Decorated to celebrate its Royal's Wedding. Amazing

36: We docked into the Port of Livorno, Italy and took a shuttle bus, a city bus and a train to Pisa, Italy. It was worth it. What a lovely town and yes, it is still standing.

42: July 7, 2011 | Pompeii, Italy

43: The city of Pompeii was destroyed and completely buried during a long catastrophic eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius spanning two days in the year AD 79

44: These Italian Beauties are shading themselves from the harsh Pompeii Sun | Mount Vesuvius overlooks the ruins of Pompeii.

46: Visiting the Amalfi Coast by Boat. Simply Breathtaking !! | July 7, 2011

50: Mom is so sad to leave Amalfi and promises to come back again some day.

51: Messina, Sicily is our last stop on the cruise and our last city in Italy. | Messina Cathedral | Messina, Sicily | July 8, 2011

52: Our Cruise Buddies: Fariyal and Kryssy Samson

53: We met the greatest people on the cruise. Mark was our hillarious costumed waiter who kept us all entertained. | Celebrating Kryssy's Sweet 16

54: Stromboli Volcano | On our last day at sea, the Captain pulled up to Stromboli Volcano so we could all check out an active volcano from the ship's deck.

57: Back to Barcelona, Spain for one last day in the sun. The Barcelona Beaches are amazing, topless and lined with restaurants and bars. Mom enjoyed one last Sangria.

58: Barcelona The city with endless attractions. We are sad to say goodbye. | July 10, 2011

59: One last visit to a Gaudi work - Casa Mila, or La Pedrera. An amazing multi storied apartment with a sculptured terrace of warriors.
