FC: Washington Vacation 2012

1: June 8-17, 2012 Mary Ann, Brenda, and Christena planned this trip for about a year. Georgia and Milo had to stay at the Logan Animal Clinic while we were gone. Friday, we all met at the Cedar Rapids Airport and went to Seattle and stayed at Ursula's house. The first stop the next day was the Seattle Space Needle. Brenda and Mary Ann went up while Christy chickened out and walked around with Ursula. Next door to the Needle was the Chihuly Glass Exhibit. We ate at the Cutter's restaurant then Ursula and Christy took a ferry to Ursula's house while Mary Ann and Brenda went on to the resort. Sunday morning we all met at Pike Place Market. We ate at Fisherman's restaurant and went to the Pioneer Square and Underground tour. We got lost driving to the Fremont Troll. But we found it. We stayed at Ursula's house Sunday night because the next morning was an early start to the Victoria Clipper by 7am for a scheduled trip to Victoria B.C. Tuesday we went on another scheduled tour of Grouse Mountain and Capilano Bridge in Vancouver, Canada. Wednesday we went to Tillicum Village on Blake Island.. The next day was a local drive around and we saw White Rock, the Peach Arch Park and Semiahmoo Park and went on a Crab Cruise. Friday was the trip to Admiralty Head Lighthouse and Rainbow Bridge. Saturday we packed up and went to Seattle for our last day. We walked around the Market and the Waterfront one last time. We rode the Seattle Seaplane.
