FC: Punta Cana | November 2012
1: There is nothing more wonderful in life than seeing life as an adventure. We should all try things that we are afraid of. We should all look clearly into the unknown and embrace it. Because when you come into contact with things that you really don't know, that''s when you're truly living.
2: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport | Up Up and Away! | We left Boston Airport at 6:20 AM on Monday November 5th. Our first stop...Atlanta, Georgia. With an hour layover we started brunch with Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's.
3: Welcome to Punta Cana | Hola Republica Dominicana! The weather was warm, humid and the sun was shining. | We patiently waited for the bus to take us to our all inclusive resort...Iberostar Bavaro.
4: Iberostar Bavaro | Day 1 continued: We checked into the resort at the Main Lobby.
5: Immediately after we checked in, we headed down to the beach. The sun was setting and the sky and waters were beautiful.
6: Day 2 Tuesday November 6th: We explored the resort on the way to the buffet style breakfast. Flamingos and ducks were always right outside the breakfast area.
8: Day 2 continued: After breakfast, we checked out the rest of the main lobby.

10: Day 2 continued:Beach day! We spend the day at Bavaro Beach!
12: Day 2 continued: More of the Resort. Peacocks stayed in the main lobby by the gift shop everyday.
13: Night 2 Tuesday November 6th: Dinner at Restaurante Cajun "Jambalaya"
14: Day 3 Wednesday, November 7th: We spend the morning on Bavaro Beach.
16: Top Left, Mountains on the ride to zip lining; Bottom Left, Cocoa beans drying. | Day 3 continued: We were on our way to zip line the mountains of the Dominican Republic. Our mode of transportation was a "Safari Style" vehicle which took us through dirt roads and the countryside.
17: Zip Line Adventures -Bavaro Runners 16 Platforms, 12 Zip Lines Longest Zip Line: 800 Meters
18: Day 3 continued: We arrived at Zip Line Adventures- Bavaro Runners and were given an explanation of the rules and regulations of the zip lines. We learned about the different platforms and lines. Next we were harnessed in our equipment and were ready to go!

22: Day 3 continued: We made it! Ice cold waters and fresh fruit were awaiting our return. Time to go back to the resort! | Making Memories
23: Night 3 Wednesday November 7th: Restaurante Japanese "Hashiru" | Night Life
24: Day 4 Thursday November 8th: We spend the morning in the "fun pool" on the Iberostar Dominicna Resort grounds. We had our fun taking underwater pictures.
26: Adventure Boogies VIP: Cap Cana | Day 4 continued: We go on an adventure: riding through Cap Cana on a 4 wheeler boogie.
27: First stop: A beautiful beach where the waves were minimal and the waters were clear and clean. The sand was white and soft and barely any seaweed was to be found
28: Day 4 continued:After spending some time at the Juanillo beach and being photographed we head to our second stop, the caves! Driving was quite rough speeding through pot holes and puddles. As we arrived at our next destination we embarked on a short hike through the jungle.
29: Hoyo Azul | We arrived at the "Blue Hole" after our short hike. There crystalline turquoise waters awaited us.The water was clear, cold and refreshing. Depth: 41 feet.
30: Day 4 continued: The environment was lush and there were plenty of mosquitoes. We hiked back to our buggies and drove back to excursion center. We watched a video of our adventure and headed back to the resort in the Safari style vehicle.
31: Night 4 Thursday, November 8th: Top photos, Dinner at Restaurante Mediterranean | Night 5 Friday, November 9th: Bottom Left, Buffet; Bottom Middle, appetizers; Bottom Right, Desserts.
32: Night 5 Continued: We were able to experience the local food and culture as well as sample new cuisine. Coconuts were cut right before our eyes. Tonight's dinner drink: Fresh coconut juice and rum.
33: Day 6 Saturday, November 10th: We spent our last full morning at Bavaro beach briefly before the storm rolled in. The skies turned from bright sun to dark clouds right in front of us.
34: Day 6 continued: The Northern tip of the beach started to get dark. Winds started to pick up and the current was getting strong.
35: We headed into the beach bar on the Iberostar Dominicana for shelter as we watched the rain. When the storm picked up we moved into the buffet area where we enjoyed lunch and some laughs.
37: Day 6 continued: The rain stopped and the sun came back out so we headed to the pool. We played volleyball and enjoyed some beverages. We had a lot of fun taking pictures in the pool.
38: Day 6 continued: More pool time as we enjoyed our last full day on the tropical island.
