4: Day 1 Arrive Barcelona Hotel Condes de Barcelona | Friday 10.05.12

16: Day 3 Starting the day with Espresso and pastries | Sunday 10.7.12

17: Went on 4 hour Barcelona city tour with our guide - Charles Harris-Inman | Casa Batllo Gaudi Barcelona | Gaudi La Pedrera

26: Our tour ends with lunch at a Pintxos bar (buffet of finger food tapas served on sticks) and shopping

28: Attempted dinner in Barrio Gothic Sangria and Conejo with liver in garlic sauce(no thanks) and great people watching at Cafe Babel.

29: Lucky for us, in Spain you can get a slice of pizza at midnight no problem! | No magic at La Font Magic!

30: Day 4 Jeff and Jennifer get their morning espresso and pastry before we all tour the city. Walked to Las Ramblas and to La Boqueria for brunch. | Monday 10.08.12

31: Acorn fed ham chips

32: Trip Highlight! Fresh Seafood (shrimp, razor clams and octopus) and hot peppers at Bar Central

33: Amazing mussels at Bar Boqueria | Walked Passeig de Catalunya - stopped for a drink and then Mary's Market

34: Walked Barceloneta area. Screw top Cava... gotta love it!

35: Searched for Can Majo, only to take a taxi to find out it was closed. Had Paella at La Mar Salada (recommended by Charles)

37: Day 5 Rented a car and stopped at Pensicola on our way to Valencia

38: The Westin Hotel- Valencia

39: VALENCIA AND THE WESTIN Great location to regroup. Take care of some laundry needs, relax on the patio and have a glass of wine.

40: Walked to dinner at Civera Marisqueria. Passed Plaza de Torros (bullfighting ring) and Estacion del Norte (train station).

44: Wednesday 10.10.12 | Day 6 Explored Valencia and visited Mercat Cental.

47: Can we get a menu in English please! | After a long search for a bank, we have dinner at Trenca Dish. Adorable restaurant...for the locals.

48: Day 7 Squeezing in a workout before breakfast and a day of wine tasting | Thursday 10.11.12 | Miguel will be so proud

52: Lunch with the locals at Asador. I think it was soup with "pig nostrils"

53: Does this look medium to you? | After a lovely stop at Dominio Dela Vega in Requena (where Alvaro Faubel Frauendorff gave us a complimentary bottle of Crianza), we had dinner at Aragon 58. Not thrilled with the Cod or the bloody steak Vic ordered, but we enjoyed the fried baby octopus or was it squid....let's look it up.

54: Friday 10.12.12

55: Day 8 Drove back to Barcelona. Here we are enjoying happy hour and the beautiful view from our hotel room at Hotel Arts before we attempt dinner at Can Majo for a second time. We needed a drink after the chaos of check in!

58: Day 9 Stopped at Dibar Cafe for a snack after shopping and before visiting the Picasso Museum. | Museo Picasso | Saturday 10.13.12 | "I paint objects as I think them, not as I see them." -Pablo Picasso

59: Spectacular views

63: The Mediterranean Sea and Port Olympic were steps from our hotel.

64: Our last tapas meal at Ciudad Condal Ceveceria | Some of our favorites: jamon serrano, hot peppers, tomato con toast, tortilla de patatas, calamares fritos, patatas bravas, sauteed mushrooms

65: We end the evening with gelato and a stroll down Las Ramblas
