S: 2011 Year of Firsts
FC: 2011 | Year of Firsts
1: 2011 | Bri/Di | Since we're madly preparing this in the beginning of March '12 (your $15 for $50 Mixbook Groupon expires tomorrow), my thoughts are already on 2012. It was a challenge to take my eyes off of today (and this diamond ring on my finger). My thoughts have been on the future that is soon to come... <3 Though this retrospective has been time consuming (and on occasion, reminds me of my school days when the deadlines are nearing, but the project is still incomplete), I'm grateful for this exercise we get to do together. Looking back at all these photos, I give thanks for the many moments, treasured memories, and valued relationships enjoyed this past year. It passed by like a blink of an eye - like they say, "time flies when you're having fun", right? :p Out of all the travels to new places, celebrations, meals shared, family and friends, what stood out the most were the valuable lessons the Lord has taught me. You constantly point my heart to seek Christ more. I am rich in Christ and blessed because you are, too. I learn much from your faithful obedience to our King, as you follow and love Christ and by His grace, lead and love me. | The year seemed to have melted away as the future approaches. As the phrase goes "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." (more of the best of times, but you get the idea). I don't deny there were some tough times for me, but through it all, God was faithful. You are so loving (almost too much sometimes), that no matter what you say, I know it's because you care about me. I know we can both be selfish at times, but ultimately we do things out of love. Love of the Lord. Love of each other. As long as we always remember that, we'll be ok. As I look back at this past year (through our photos), I can't help but be amazed at how God has transformed my life with just one person. You are more than just someone I have fun with: you help stretch me, you challenge me, you help me to grow as a person, a boyfriend, and as a man. You inspire me to live/eat healthier (and to do p90x). You encourage me to seek God more. And you don't mind I cry at silly things. I am grateful for your friendship and thankful to God for bringing you into my life! ^_^ <3 ~November 2011 | Year of Firsts
