88: student | The mission of Pinnacle Academy is to introduce advanced science and math education at a younger age, and ultimately prepare graduates with competitive skills. I am currently in 8th grade, and I am having my Algebra finals next week. So I will be done with Geometry by the end of the year, and will be ahead of others. Pinnacle Academy offers a quality education, with advanced classes. My friends were able to reach their goals, and I took the classes that I was interested in. Pinnacle Academy participates in many extracurricular activities, such as Science Olympiad, Math counts, and Future City. These competitions are all organized for the students of Pinnacle to gain experience and knowledge. I personally have joined all these competitions, and it has been a stunning experience. I have increased my brain usage from 10% to 15%, and these competitions have prepared me for the future. Pinnacle has achievements in all three of these categories; reaching a gold level status in Mathcounts, getting a total of 32 medals in Science Olympiad, and getting first and second place in the Future City competition continuously for three years. Every year Pinnacle participates in the American Math Challenge, and has had students placed in the top, including my friend Bilal Tulamirza. Pinnacle Academy also prepares students for Thomas Jefferson High School, and currently has students enrolled in the ninth grade. I have also been accepted into TJ, and will be going there as a freshman next year. Perhaps one of the greatest accomplishments of Pinnacle is its invitation to the 2010 White House Science Fair, which I was included in. After getting first in the Future City competition, we had the chance to present our city in front of President Barrack Obama. I could say without doubt that this was the most exasperating event that I ever experienced. Thanks to Pinnacle Academy, I have been able to rise up to my full potential. Kemal, 8th Grade Student Pinnacle Academy has a special place in our heart. The information they teach us here is priceless, and the things we learn are very valuable. We have lots of fun and exciting experiences. Every year Pinnacle Academy joins competitions like Math Counts, Science Olympiad, and Future City. We always motivate each other to learn. This year 8th Grade’s Future City Team won 2nd place in the state of Maryland, and the 7th Grade Team received the Best Transportation award. Pinnacle’s environment is very friendly and everyone is kind toward one another. Our teachers are very encouraging, educated and also funny at the same time. The friends that we made here will be our friends for life, and more importantly, will be friends that people can call 20 years later and ask for anything. Nihal and Sumeyye, 7th Grade Students Pinnacle academy is a really good private school. It gives a good education and it has really nice teachers. Bilal, 7th Grade Student Pinnacle Academy is a school with small class size so each individual student gets the attention and help from their teacher. The teachers here are very helpful and intelligent. On Fridays we have fun clubs like soccer club, cooking club, table tennis club, and board games club. On Mondays we have educational clubs like Turkish tea club, drama club, math club, and for the people that have any C’s, they go to torturing club, which helps them improve the subject they are not good at. The location of the school is great because the school is right next to the library so the students have access to the many books in the library.
