FC: Age of Enlightenment By: Adam Butler
My name is Jacques. I was born in the age of enlightenment. I am 18 years old and I am old enough to start my journey from France. When I started my journey I came upon...
...GALILEO GALILEI The first person I came across was Galileo Galilei. | He taught me many things that would help me through my journey. The things he taught me were about astronomy and math. He told me I would have to go if I was going to meet John Locke.
He was like a father to me the years that I was there.
When I found Locke's cottage, I had barely made it, because he was walking out the door.
I had to explain to him that I was on a journey to meet many different people and that Galileo told me to come see him.
Locke told me to go to the harbor just east of his cottage and I could find sailors that would go to America.
When I got to the harbor, I had to ask around to find sailors to go with me to America. Finally after going through hundreds of people, I found the sailors.
When we started out, the seas were smooth and ready for sailing.
About half way to America, the seas began to get ruff and choppy. We lost many people on the ship because there was unbelievable wind speed. We finally reached the Americas
By the time I sailed to America Thomas Jefferson was writing most of the Bill of Rights
On the way to Europe w/ Thomas Jefferson. I was telling him what made me want to go on the journey and where I have been.
When we got to Europe, Jefferson Rented a cottage. But for me I went to meet Catherine the Great. The guards thought I was an impostor and arrested me for 2 weeks and by then Thomas Jefferson came to help me. He explained to her and they finally let me go. After all the trouble i went through she finally knighted me!
