1: Andrew Jackson was born March 15, 1767 in Waxhaw South Carolina. Jackson was also known as Old Hickory or King Andrew. He was not a very religious guy but was considered a Presbyterian. Andrew did not go to college, just to high school. Before he became president he taught school briefly, and study law. In North Carolina in September of 1787 he started his career. He became the first congress man on Tennessee. He was a U.S senator for one session. Jackson also fought in the Revolutionary War and The War of 1812.
2: Andrew Jackson's wifes name was Rachel Jackson. They did not have any of their own kids. But, they adopted one of Rachel's nephews.
