1 I chose this topic because I think this story is very sincere and moving.e

2 I already knew about the story of Anne Frank before this project. I already knew that she was a Jewish girl who kept a diary during the Holocaust. But to get more information, I looked on WWW. NC Wise Owl. Org.

3 When was Anne Frank's Birthday? The information I got from NC Wise Owl said "At the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education details the life of Anne Frank from her birth in 1929, to the present." It also said "Anne Frank, b. June 12, 1929, d. March 1945, was a young Jewish girl who kept a diary while hiding from Nazi persecution in the Netherlands during WWII".

4 What Was the Date of Anne Frank's Death? The information I got from NC Wise Owl said "Anne Frank died of typhus when she was 15 in March, 1945, just before the end of WWII." It also mentioned the place she died. (Bergen Belsen concentration camp).

5 What Were Things Anne Frank Did In Between Hiding and Being A Secret? According to NC Wise Owl, Anne Frank played the piano at her old house. When she was in the Secret Annex, she wrote in the diary, and the diary was one of the most enduring portraits of horrors of the Nazi regime.

6 All in all, Anne Frank survived several hardships during the time of the Secret Annex. She also apparently liked to write about her feelings. However, she did not know that her own story would become one of the most beloved of the future.

7 During this project, I learned that in some way or another, there is a remedy for everything. When Anne was in the concentration camp, and she wouldn't have gotten the disease, she would have had to suffer a long and painful death. Instead, she died just before she would have "the hard way".

8 My Sources: The sources I used are as follows: The Dominion Post People Magazine Time Cover Story The Hamilton Spectator (ON), 6/27/09 Toronto Star (Canada), 2/21/05 The Washington Post, 2/2/10 San Francisco Chronicle (10/1/07 to present), 2/3/10, pA1, 0p
