FC: Weathering and Erosion By: Brett Sooy
1: This is oxidation on both pictures it is when water and air get into a rock and combined with the iron and change its the rocks color.
2: The whitish stuff is carbonic acid. Carbonic acid is white stuff on rocks or foamy things in water.
4: On these wall there is frost action because water got into the cracks on the wall and freezes.
5: This is root action on both pictures root action is when roots get into rocks and start to grow.
6: These pictures are showing erosion because the rocks and dirt are eroding. Erosion is when things get cared to different places by water or wind
7: These pictures show erosion because dirt is eroding into the water.
