FC: 2010 | Memories
1: January - BEAR - It was time to say good bye to Bear. What a wonderful amazing family dog. Bear died on January 15th. We will always remember the joy she brought to our family.
2: February - The Olympics came to Vancouver in February. We decided to take the two week vacation from school and travel south to California. | The Olympic torch came through Abbotsford in February. | Alanna and I went to see the caldrone in Vancouver
3: We took our 5th wheel and drove to Southern California. We stopped in Fresno first and then off to Anaheim. We went to Disneyland, California Adventure and Knotts Berry Farm. | The Magic Kingdom Jedi Training Academy

5: As we were passing the Grizzly River Run, we saw the McLeod Family. What a wonderful surprise. | Colby and Evan | Alanna and Colin | Alanna and Mickey | Trish, Evan, Nancy, Colby, Buzz, Rod, Colin and Alanna
6: A Dream Come True For Trish - The San Andreas Fault Line
7: Palm Desert We drove south and found natural mud volcanoes. We also stopped and picked some oranges on the side of the road.
8: We heard about a man named Leonard Knight who created "Salvation Mountain" in the middle of the desert. Leonard began his creation in the mid-80's. His message is simple "God Is Love"
9: The Thousand Trails Park was very different than Cultus Lake and Pacific City. | We stopped in Fresno on the way back as well. | We decided to bring Cooper. He was a terrific traveling cat.
10: In March, they tore down the Cheam Center which Alanna spent many, many hours at. Alanna was part of 2 team routines this year. | At the Easter vigil this year, Papa Rick was Confirmed. It was wonderful to be there to share this special occasion with Sharon and Rick.
11: SYNCHRO 2010 Alanna continued to swim with the Chilliwack YMCA synchronized swimming club. | Sarah, Kendra, Raelyn and Alanna | Shari, Katie, Breanna, Sam, Emily, Kendra and Alanna
13: Maya Stobbe born: March 26, 2010 brought home: May 17, 2010 | Our home was very lonely without a dog and we decided in March to begin the search for our new dog. I found Maya on a website in April. Her owner lived just a few minutes away from us. Maya's mother, Whisper, had 10 puppies. As soon as we met the puppies, we knew Maya was for us. We chose her immediately and on our next visit, she remembered us. She was the smallest and reddest puppy of the litter.
14: HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS SEASON | Track and Field - Was so much fun this year. Colby and Alanna were both on the St. James Team and they both had a very successful year. | Colby and Evan | Colby and Peter
15: 5 | 2 | 11 11 | Colby played on two hockey teams this year. He played for the Abbotsford Venom and the Renegades!!
16: Colby is 9!!! June 17th - all he wanted was a Warrior hockey stick. Colby had his birthday party and the Mission Leisure Center.
18: Last Day Of School - June 30, 2010 - Celebration of Excellence - Alanna received the award for Merit. The traditional Passing of the candles. The new Grade 7s - The leaders of the school.
19: Colby spent his last days in June at a hockey tournament in Whistler. He had a blast with the Renegades. | MVP | Jamie and Colby - the two goalies
20: July 1st Canada Day We spent the day at Fort Langley with the Nangles

23: Alanna went to Camp Stillwood for the very first time | She went with Rachel Choboter and Katie Wong. The three girls had a wonderful time. | Camp Stillwood July 2010
24: Oregon 2010 | We went for our annual trip to Oregon at the end of July.
25: Karolyn, Craig, Daniella and Sophi came too for their second year.

27: In August we went to visit the viscos in osoyoos. the weather was beautiful and the waterskiing/wakeboarding was perfect! | Alanna and jodi Colby and mommy | Pie eating contest | 3 legged race
28: First Day Of School | Alanna is going into Grade 7 and Colby is entering Grade 4 | Alanna, Cecilia, Rachel, Katie and Serena
29: Buzz and Jason surprized us by taking us to the season opener of the Canucks game in a limo. It was a lot of fun.
30: Trick or Treat! | Alanna invited many friends and they had a fun night playing in the dark and of course, carving pumpkins. | Alanna's 12th Birthday

32: Christmas Hangups | Our Christmas play was amazing this year. Alanna had one of the lead roles as Angela the Angel and Colby was one of the Wisemen.
33: We came home from the concert and noticed Santa had come early. WHAT A SURPRIZE | Santa brought scooters for the kids. Off to bed....tomorrow....Mexico
34: MAYAN RIVIERA This was our fifth time visiting Playacar. We stayed 2 weeks and the weather was perfect. We love SANDOS | December 17-31st, 2010
36: The Beach
37: We spent hours and hours on the beautiful Mayan beach. There was always something to do as well as must needed reading and relaxing time too.
38: Another Day In Paradise | Coba, some Sonotas and Explor
39: We hired a taxi and drove to Coba and to some sonotas. It was beautiful. We spent one day at Explor and zip lined through the jungle, swam in underground caves and went for a fun jeep drive.
40: On Christmas Eve we had a special turkey dinner at the hotel and then went to Mass at a Catholic Church in Playa del Carmen. It was a wonderful experience
41: On Christmas Day Santa arrived on a Jet Ski and had a toy for all the children. | Catholic Church
42: We had a wonderful time...... can't wait until December 2011 | Terisita is one of our favourite people at the hotel. We have seen her each year. The kids made a wonderful clay piece to bring home.
43: Terisita is one of our favourite people at the hotel. She has been here every year. Alanna and Colby made lovely clay decorations for their rooms.
