BC: The End
FC: James Verderamo | The Life of...
Who I Am | My name is James Verderamo. I am a senior at Red Lion Christian Academy. A few words to describe myself would be: nerd, performer, and an all around fun person to be around. I'll find the bright side in almost all situations! | I have many goals for my life, but my immediate ones include: graduating from RLCA in June, and attending the University of Delaware in the fall. I also look forward to being a part of the musical at Red Lion.
There were many factors in my life that contributed to my overall character and demeanor. Being a part of numerous musical productions gave me a stronger sense of confidence and formed memories that will last a lifetime The biggest part was the support of my family. Spending time with my siblings was always precious to me as I was growing up (and it still is!). Having older siblings also influenced me to strive to be more like them, and in some cases even better!
 How I Became Me
Elementary School Days | My favorite activity in elementary school was recess. I would enjoy playing with my friends, whether it be on the swings or playing tag. The most fun thing at recess, however, was kickball. It was a fun way to bond with the rest of my classmates. | My favorite teacher in elementary school was one of my 5th grade teachers, Mr. Farren. He was the first male teacher I had ever had, which was pretty cool. He could be strict at times, but his classes were always fun. Unfortunately, I only had him for my science class, but luckily my main teacher, Miss Young, was great too.
My favorite subject in elementary school was math. I remember playing fun math games like Around the World in 2nd grade. In this game, the students would stand up and, one at a time, challenge each other in math-related questions. Elementary school is where I discovered my passion and gift for math, and I look forward to a career that is also includes math.
The people who I admired most throughout middle school were my family members. They helped me get through the awkward adjustments of adolescence. As I was growing up, they showed me how to have an awesome personality as well as being an amazing person! | I discovered a few strong points in myself in middle school, both musically and intellectually. I had a great time doing the school musicals throughout middle school and as I transitioned into high school. Schoolwork came easily to me in middle school, but, unfortunately, a weak point that came with my intelligence was laziness.
Woe is Me - Adolescence and Middle School | My best friends in middle school were Zach, Evan, and Shane. It's weird to think back now and see how different we all were, but we were still a great group! We had great times at school and youth group. The best time that we all had together was a trip to Six Flags for my thirteenth birthday.

At Last I'm a Senior! | Senior year was a very fun time for me. During the year I felt like I really bonded with my other classmates. We all saw many awesome things together throughout the year. One of my favorite parts of the year was when we won the spirit stick. It was a great feeling having all of our hard work paid off and being able to win on our senior year. The entire spirit week itself was very fun, and everyone got really into it this year which was pretty awesome. The best part of my senior year by far was the senior trip. I had so much fun being with my class for a whole week, making memories that will last throughout my life. The best parts of senior trip were the skiing, bowling, and watching movies with my classmates. I bonded with people that I didn't even really talk to before the trip and now I have more friends to show for it. This trip was really life changing and I wouldn't trade that experience for anything else. Certain parts of my senior trip were not all carefree and fun however. Senioritis kicked in for me sometime in 11th grade and it's only gotten worse with time, causing my grades to suffer pretty harshly. I've had a few heartbreaks and a few difficult patches in family life to get through, but ultimately I feel like I learned from these difficult times. Without facing some bad things, how can you ever expect to really appreciate it when something really good comes around? All around my senior year was fantastic and I hope to stay friends with many of my classmates for years to come.
