BC: UNC at Chapel Hill, over all seems to be a great college to attend! With challenging classes and teachers ready and willing to help you out at every turn. What's even better is that the cost of tuition is not as high as it would seems, and there are plenty of scholarships for you to apply for in order to cut the price even lower. UNC will be a great school for anyone to make their first steps to a bright new future. | Belmont Abbey is another great school for anyone to start their careers at. The price, however, is a bit high, but the scholarships for which you can apply can cut the price to a little over ten grand, and will cover everything you need! My mother currently goes to Belmont Abbey and from her experiences, she says that is a great place to start.

1: Here we see Belmont Abbey's mascot, the Red Crusaders. They are made to resemble helms. Belmont Abbey is, of course, located in Belmont, North Carolina and is a suburban college located in a small town setting consisting of 2,00 to 9,999 people. Belmont Abbey offers pre-sheduled tours of the campus Mon-Friday, but they require that you schedule 24 hours in advance in order to allow them to prepare. | To the right is the iconic Tar Heel blue ram which is the Mascot of UNC Chapel Hill. At Chapel Hill, they have a normal Student:teacher ratio of 14:1 and is a suburban college in a large town, which ranges from 10,000 to 49,999 people. UNC Chapel hill also offers tours at any time Monday through Friday, and as a bonus, if the tour is between 11am and 5 pm, one can visit the Model Room located in Craige Hall!

2: Roughly 72% of applicants are to Belmont Abbey College admitted and 69% return for their sophomore year. Currently 1,497 students are attending Belmont Abbey college and last semester 223 graduated.

3: Approximately 13,390 students apply for UNC at Chapel Hill, 5,558 are admitted and 3,170 are actually enrolled. Roughly 32% of applicants are admitted and 97% return for their sophomore year. Currently 28,67 students are attending Belmont Abbey college and last semester 3,455 graduated.

4: A main scholarship offered is the James M. Johnson Award. This grant requires that the applicant the submit a FASFA and application every year they attend UNC by March 1st. The money granted will be no less than $1,000. The Old Well and founder scholarship asks that a student have exemplary academic records and offers $3,000. | Tuition for students living off campus is drastically less than students living on campus. Off campus students can expect to pay $13,824 with the bulk of it being tuition and fees. Room and board, of course, doesn't apply to off campus students but costs roughly $5,520. However Financial aid is available for those who qualify, as well as scholar ships.

5: Tuition for students at Belmont Abbey college costs about $26,182, this includes new books, classes, sickness insurance and basic accident insurance. A somewhat large price. Belmont Abbey, however, offers many scholarships that are simple enough to apply for, one such is the Honors Fellowship scholarship, it only requires that the student be accepted into the Honors Institute of Belmont Abbey and awards up to $23,000. Another interesting scholarship is the Saint Thomas More. Students who apply for this muse show courage, moral conviction and and interest in Theology, Fine arts, and Modern/Classic Language. this one offers $20,000.

6: For UNC Acceptance, you must have completed the online or paper application form as well as a copy of your SAT/ACT scores. Another piece of material that is required is an Essay of why you should be admitted to UNC at Chapel Hill. | Five majors that have interested me at UNC include: Biology, Pathology - Human/Animal, Fine/Studio Arts, Environmental Science, and Psychology. In order to enter the Biology field of study you must have met the QR foundations which include, Math, Chem, and Computer classes. For psychopathology you must first take Psych 101, 245, and 250.

7: In order to be Accepted at BAC, you must present them, of course, with and application. Secondly you will need to send a copy of you SAT/ACT scores along with your high school or College transcript. Afterwards you will be notified one week ahead of time where or not you have been accepted. | At BAC, the courses that interested me were; Biology, Applied Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, and Theology. In order to major in Bio you must take BI 201. BI 215, BI 231, BI 300, BI 310 or BI 361, BI 407, BI 408, CH 105, and CH 106. For Philosophy you must have completed * PH 200 or 201, PH 303, PH 316, PH 323, PH 401, PH 402, and PH 430.
