1: What is pesticide? | pesticide/pestsd/ Noun: A substance used for destroying insects or other organisms harmful to cultivated plants or to animals.

2: Used to repel pests | Poison | Applied to crops

3: A pesticide is a chemical that is used to repel pests such as rats and insects. Pesticide is most commonly used by farmers and applied to there crops. This chemical is also a poison and we intake this poison when we eat the agriculture in contact with pesticides.

4: How does pesticide work?

5: Pesticides are sprayed on agriculture for the purpose of attracting pests and then killing them with toxins. Pesticides are effective until a few weeks after they are applied. pesticides affect the organisms of pests causing them to die. Farmers use them to keep there crops bug free so there crops look healthy even though they may be poisonous.

6: Short term effects

7: Researchers discovered a close relationship with farmers who use pesticides and asthma. This therefor means that pesticides can cause asthma.

8: Long term effects

9: Neurotoxins are also found in pesticides causing people exposed to feel dizzy, light-headed, a reduced IQ along with difficulty with learning ability's. It also shortens attention span and Causes depression in most cases.

10: How it affects people and wild life

11: Wild Life | People | People are affected by pesticide in ways such as... depression shortened attention span asthma dizziness | Wild life are affected by pesticides in ways such as... death targets central nervous system behavioral changes

12: 2.5 million tons of pesticide are applied to the worlds crop yearly. It's estimated 69,000 children were affected by pesticide in the U.S.A and more than 220 000 people die globally according to the World Health Organization.

13: . | Not only do we take in pesticide through our crops but it is in our life stock and drinking water. the run off from crops run into our water and pesticides evaporate and rain down into our lakes. So considering this, pesticides are not safe.

14: There are many concerns with disposal of pesticide since no matter where we or the government decides to dump it, it will still manage to kill wildlife of weave it's way into or water systems. Burning it or throwing it in a Third-World seems like the best option although no matter what, it will still affect us. | I

15: Is it safe to dispose ?

16: How does pesticide get into our water?

17: h | The farm is by the lake which we interact with. Suppose that pesticide is applied to these farm and then watered. Well, the water would mix in with the pesticide and either runoff into the water or evaporate and rain somewhere else in the world. This is why pesticide is not safe since it will always find a way to hurt us.
