FC: A travel through our school local area network.

1: The Browser is were all the process starts. You can use any of the many, like Explorer, Google Chrome or FireFox. | Then you type the URL address and the process starts once you click enter.

2: After you enter the URL address into the computer, the Network Interference Card, or NIC then puts an IP address in the packages.

3: The information you need to send so you can have access to the Internet and then see a video is in this packages that are sent.

4: After the packages are sent they go through the UTP cable. Then, when it finds a router switch, it goes inside it.

5: Once it goes through the router switch, it keeps moving through the Fiber Optic Cables.

6: The site is were all of the components are located. Some of the components located there are the Proxy server, and the Firewall. They are all very important for the computer.

7: The proxy server manages ISP signals. | The fiewall makes sure no viruses get into your computer.


9: All this process happens immediately and in seconds, so you really don't notice all the work your computer dose to get you that video.
