FC: Council of Trent
1: The Council of Trent was an Ecumencial Council that took place in Trent, which was a small town in Italy. This council had been called to look over and reform the Catholic Church.

3: The council was also called to examine the doctrine and reform. They also discussed the Canon of Scriptural books, and the relation of Scripture and Tradition.A major subject that was discussed was the differences between both Catholic and Protestant positions, preparing doctrines and laws of the Church formal, and the decree on justification.
4: The Council of Trent decided to copy the Mass into one acceptable form. This also included priests training at seminaries approved by the pope. A Catechism of the Church being written to define teachings of the Church, as well as what Roman Catholicism was and is today.
