BC: Crazy Horse helped shape our country's history. He was a kind person, and a courageous warrior who defended his people's sacred lands. For all this, he is remembered, especially in his memorial statue.

1: Crazy Horse was the Chieftian of the Oglala tribe of the Dakota

2: Crazy Horse was brought up to have selflessness, courage and generosity.

3: Once in his childhood, Crazy Horse gave all his family's meat to the elders of his tribe.

4: One winter,Crazy horse killed 10 buffalo. He gave all of them to the rest his tribe

5: Crazy Horse led many raids against whites and other tribes.

6: Crazy Horse was a natural leader

7: Crazy Horse was the leader in the battle of General Custer's last stand.

8: Crazy Horse fought to protect his people's sacred land, the Black Hills.

9: Crazy Horse died at age 35, knifed while trying to escape from an American fort.

10: A memorial is in construction to remember Crazy horse. When it is done, it will stand 563 feet tall.
