15: UW-Platteville sophomore guard Curt Hanson ranked second in the country in three-point shooting, according to the NCAA III statistics. Hanson, from Deerfield, Ill., connected on 72 of 145 three-point shots, good for 49.7 percent. He trailed only Marietta's Nathan Edick, who made 54.8 percent of his three-point attempts. Hanson, who averaged 15.1 points per game, helped UWP rank second nationally as a team in three-point shooting at 44.0 percent. Wooster made 44.4 of its shots. Hanson was a first-team all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection after helping the Pioneers to a 19-7 record, including 12-4 and second place in the WIAC. UWP returns its top 10 players from this year's squad, which ranked 23rd in the D3hoops.com poll.

29: Hanson, a junior guard from Deerfield, Ill., earned his second consecutive first-team honor. He is averaging 13.8 points per game, reaching double figures in 19 of the 27 games. Hanson was named to the all-tournament teams at UW-Platteville and St. Norbert and was the MVP at Hanover (Ind.) Tournament. He is second in UWP's record book with 178 career three-point baskets.

45: “UW-Platteville's Curt Hanson earned the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference basketball player of the week award. Hanson, a senior guard from Deerfield, Ill., was the Most Outstanding Player Award in the Grand Canyon Classic in Phoenix, Ariz. The Grand Canyon Classic also consisted of teams from Basketball Traveler’s Cactus Jam, making the event a “co-sponsored” event. Hanson averaged 29 points and 8 rebounds in two Pioneer games”
46: Seniors Curt Hanson and Mike Shaw made their way into the record books as well. Hanson made more three-point baskets (245) than anyone in school history, while Shaw ranks second with 205. Hanson's career total is also the fourth-best in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference history.

During his four years, Hanson helped the Pioneers to a 69-37 record and a berth into the 2009 NCAA III playoffs. One of Hanson's best games is actually not officially in the record books, as he poured in 24 points to help UW-Platteville stun Division I Bradley 84-79 in a 2008 exhibition game.
