FC: EUROPE TRIP | Part I - Germany | June 2012

1: The Journey Begin | Mom did the smartest thing that she join the Air Transat kid clubs. This allow the whole family to check-in at the business class counter and by-pass the line up at the airport.

2: So excited on the plane | So tired on the plane

3: Lovely Home of Hermia & Karl

4: Day 1 - Marburg | A city in the state of Hesse, Germany, on the River Lahn. It is the main town of the Marburg-Biedenkopf district | The Philipps Universitt (founded in 1527) is the oldest Protestant university in the world

6: St. Elisabeth Church - The church is one of the earliest purely Gothic churches in German-speaking areas, and is held to be a model for the architecture of Cologne Cathedral.

8: on top of | Day 2 begin with some crazy shopping at the Wertheim Village Outlet | Before

10: After four hours of driving, we arrived at Schwangau, a municipality in the district of Ostallgu in Bavaria, Germany and situated on southern Germany's Romantic Road. We stay at the romantic Hotel Weinbauer.

13: Enjoy a delicious dinner and drinks at the hotel restaurant. Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) was good and so was the beer. Also have live performance of traditional German music.

14: Day 3 start with buffet breakfast and head toward the Neuschwanstein Castle (a.k.a. the Swan Castle).

20: After the long day at the New Schwanstein Castle, we head toward Ulm, a city that is rich in history and traditions as a former Free Imperial City. We settle in Hotel am Rathaus / Hotel Reblaus.

22: Had a great breakfast before exploring the city of Ulm for Day 4.

24: Ulmer Münster is the Gothic church with the tallest steeple in the world | If you are brave enough, you can walk all the way to the top, there are only 768 steps.

26: A wiggle tooth fell out while trying the curry sausage

27: Grab a quick bit @ McD before we head home for a late dinner. | There are bubble tea @ McD in Germany

28: Getting ready to go to Rothenburg ab Der Tauber.

29: Taking the sky ride to the top of the mountain to view the Danau River.

30: Danube (Donau) River, the 2nd longest river in Europe that passes through nine countries. | Anyone feels like singing "The Blue Danube"?

32: Enjoy a fantastic dinner at a popular beer garden.

33: Can you see how fast we drove on the Autobahn?

34: Times fly and we are ready to head to our next destination - London.
