Once upon a time there was a town called Pinkerton, Pinkerton was a small town that was the home of the undefeated baseball team from Pinkerton high. They were called The Pinkerton Panthers. One day in that small town a little boy named George transferred to Pinkerton high.

While he was waiting in the office for his new schedule this boy walked in and introduced himself his name was Henry he said “hi I will be your guide for the nest week to show you around and explain things to you if you need help” “thanks but I don’t think I will need help” said George. Then as the boy was walking away he said “well if you need any help at all just ask I would love to answer any questions you might have about our school” As soon as George got his schedule he headed towards his 1st class of the day.

When he walks into the classroom his teacher Mrs. Crumpet announces that the baseball tryouts were this Friday after school. George loved to play baseball at his old school he wanted to go into the profession of being a baseball player. It was his all time favorite sport. “aw yes George our new student for this year we are glad you could make it. Come in and have a seat right nest to Danny right there.” All the kids in the class just stared at George and then Danny.

When George sat down Danny glared at him. George asked “Do you know anything about the baseball tryouts on Friday” Danny just smiled and said “You think that you would actually make the team the undefeated team the one at our school? Well I guess you could be a water boy for the team." Then the bell rang and he just walked away.

It was Wednesday and before school George went to the coaches office and mentioned trying out for the team and then the coach said “of course you could try out many people have tried and have failed but I have a feeling that you would make the team. I have confidence in you even after what Danny said to you. You just kept believing in your dreams and that proves that you are a very strong person.

It was now Thursday and George went into his classroom and when Danny walked in he went over to George and said “ I heard you went to talk to coach why did you do that after I specifically said that you wouldn’t make the team anyway.” “ well the coach said that I was very strong and brave for going in to talk to him and that I could try out for the team if I wanted to.”

It was now Friday and George tried out for the baseball team and it was the end of the day when they were waiting for the results of who made the team and who didn’t make the team. Coach had just put up the sheet and everybody went over to look at it. Even people who didn’t play baseball went to look. When George went to look he noticed he made it he believed in his dreams and made the team even though the school bully said he couldn’t make it he still tried and he made it.
