FC: An American Visionary | Ella Baker

1: Life brings simple pleasures to us every day. It is up to us to make them wonderful memories. CathyAllen | Dec. 13 1903- Dec 13 1986 | Helped launch the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party.

2: -Became the national director of the League in 1931. -Began to work for the NAACP in the 1940's. -In 1958 she moved to Atlanta to work with the SCLC. -In 1960 she quit the SCLC and took a job with the Young Womens Christian Association.

4: Graduated with a bachelors degree and was Valedictorian. | Baker was part of the bus boycott for 381 days.

5: Born in Norfolk, Va and went to Raleigh High.

6: All things grow better with love.

7: when students began sit-ins she developed the student Non-violent Coordination Committee.
