1: The Lotus Temple catches many tourist's eyes because of its gorgeous shape. The Lotus Temple is for all people regardless of their religion.

2: The Konark Sub Temple is a renowned temple and is a World Heritage Site.

3: The Hindu Akshardham Temple is a beautiful temple and attracts many tourists.

4: Om symbol represents Hinduism. The syllable om is mentioned in many of the Upanishads. | Hinduism and Buddhism was important in ancient India and is still very important in modern day India.

5: This is the Buddhism symbol. The eight legs pointing out represent the Noble Eightfold Path of Buddhism.

6: Mohenjo-Daro and Harrapa is one of the first world and ancient cities.

7: New Delhi is a huge and fast growing city. New Delhi is also known to be the most expensive city in terms of cost of living. | Mumbai is great Indian city for tourists. Having Bollywood(the Indian film industry) in Mumbai makes it a great place to go.

8: Agriculture provides jobs and food in ancient India and modern day India. | The Great Bath of Mohenjo-Daro is the earliest public water tank in the ancient world.

9: Road construction is important to India. Especially for transportation.

10: When the Aryans invaded, people were dived into castes.

11: Modern day India's government is a central government.

12: The first Indian script is still not deciphered. | Later on, Brahmi and Kharosthi were created so both local and official languages can be written.

13: Sanskirt is the official language of India.

14: Farmers, merchants, priests, warriors, craft workers and laborers.

15: The caste system. Highest: Priests Middle: Merchants, warriors, craft workers Lowest: Laborers
