1: Dedicated to Maoro Bienvenuti and his focaccia, the carousel owner and elderly gentleman in the Piazza della Repubblica, the music, food, love, light and laughter that is all of the Italian people. I am grateful for the generosity of your souls.
2: Buongiorno! Take a look and see if you Can guess at what I’m seeing? I’ll give you a glimpse, And some clues, And off you go, no peeking!
3: Round and round, Wheels I pedal, I find you near the market, So people tote home their goods I find you on the sidewalk, Or riding through the woods.
4: It's a Bicycle! Say it in Italian: Bicicletta
5: Tart to taste, Rough to touch, I find you hiding in the trees, Camouflaged in perfect jade I find you in my gelato scoop, Puckering taste, how perfect it’s made!
6: It's a Lime! Say it in Italian: Limetta
7: Up and over, Under and out, I find you over rivers, Where water flows beneath. I find you over busy roads, So people can cross the street.
8: It's a Bridge! Say it in Italian: Ponte
9: Beep beep! Move over! As I take you around, I find you a bit aged, But still good for the road, I find you parked on cobblestone streets, Ready to help transport the next load.

11: Paintings, sculptures, Exhibits full of pieces I find you tucked within the buildings, Your art ready to share I find so many people in lines, Waiting to see your wares.

13: On your hands, On your feet, Music beating, boom boom boom! I find you performing on the piazza, Upside down, turn and twist I find you surrounded by onlookers, Who stop to see what they missed.

15: Tall and emerald, Leaves fluttering in the breeze I find you on the country side, Bringing gardens your scent in the air, I find you perched in pots, Giving buildings a bit of flair.

17: Not moving an inch, Stone faced staring back at me. I find you at the museum Marble glaring white I find you at the fountains Granite stone shimmering in the light.

19: Strings to play, Tunes all day Sweet music makes me happy I find you in the restaurant, Bow dancing on strings for your meal. I find you on the corner, Playing songs, my heart, you steal.

33: About the Author Lesley Ann Hadella usually finds herself residing in Texas with her dog and rabbit. When she's not busy doing market analysis, swing dancing or taking pictures, she finds herself longing to write more and more children's books. And wanting to return to Italy.
